Next week it's the solution to bitcoins' scaling issues and will be looked at as under value.

I think this is pretty much a looser thread that prevented some people to buy at bottom, maybe was intended as such or OP was just a poor sucker too. We might never know.
I for one am confident we'll see 10$ again this year.

If Greece defaults tomorrow (or next week) you could see a steady uptick in LTC price. That, with the confluence of the halving and dissension of the amongst the bitcoin ranks as LTC can be a viable substitute until consensus is reached...New floors could be established on a daily basis.

i look at the old way of the 0.01 LTC to BTC it was the like june 2nd 2016 at like 1.67 LTC or some such

even with the 4.17 LTC price I see now (or did) it is at something like 0.01579 LTC to BTC again this also accounts for the Bitcoin price rise adding to the LTC pump

so will ride out my bag holding of LTC unless it starts to creep back to 0.01 LTC to BTC range ..due to say not keeping up with BTC price and/or just the dump

but with my 2 titans from June 2nd at I think it was 1.67 LTC USD I'm up like over 1000 usd on monthly mining using that calc on the above pool and this is after elec use

so hell I've no idea wtf is going on this coin could hit 8 bucks per LTC when the China jumps on board this weekend ....

always wanted to know if I would have held/folded/or cashed out when in 2013 BTC went from like 1.27 or whatever to 12 bucks beginning of that year

now I'm looking at the same..is LTC really? the sliver to BTC being gold? that ratio i use above could get much bigger in LTC's favor

I remember that - and a small part of me is kicking myself for not buying some LTC back then.

An earlier poster mentioned the good ol' 0.01 ratio. Before the altcoin bear market grew its teeth, 0.01 could be counted on as a kind of normal value for LTC. When it fell into the bear's wood chipper, I seriously thought that the old 0.01 "normal" was broken. Go figure.

seriously as i saw the range at 0.0121 i existed 1/5 for reinvesting, but as i saw the spike  to 0.014 i knew that LTC's bull move is
not over so i reentered at 0.0125  with a small loss. I knew that the popssible reward was worth to take the 2% loss.
Now LTC is 0.016-17

I estimate that LTC will die harder "up" to 0.020 as a resistance price. Volume is descreasing but there could be again one small push to 0,020.

Well, the rise definitely comes through the economical uncertainties around Greece and probably because of the capital controls. It is much easier to buy Litecoin than Bitcoin. Therefore it is no wonder that the price is rising. Litecoin seems still alive indeed

Litecoin offers absolutely nothing over what 99% of these alt coins offers, even the worst alt coin offer more innovative features than Litecoin. And to those litecoin bagholders, who say that "Litecoins age and adoption" is something it offers, that's not true..There are NO reputable stores Worldwide that accept Litecoin, not one.

Verdict: Litecoin is dead, it hasn't been updated in years, it's a practically abandoned coin. I'm gonna feel really sorry to all the litecoin bagholders that are still "HODLING" when Litecoin reaches $1, 50 cents, 10 cents etc.

More than 1 year later and Litecoin's price is below $5, far off from it's $50 ATH. Litecoin struggles to follow in Bitcoin's rise and falls, and instead just keeps falling.

I'm sorry but Litecoin's clearly a 100% speculated pump and dump scheme, from it's development being put on hold, to half of it's volume coming from exchanges with 0 trading fees, this coin is the walking dead, just like 99% of all other alt-shitcoins out there. It would be a more complex scenario if Litecoin had any advantages over Bitcoin, but it doesn't. It's kind of like a ghost that keeps haunting, crypto exorcism anyone?
