Is I0C mining still working? We seem to be off on some kind of fork since it shows that we've solved almost every consecutive block for the past few hours.
I0C chain is fucked up, apparently there was a massive rollback on the chain. P2PMining seems to be the only ones mining, and difficulty has dropped to less then 1000. Vircurex seems to still be hosting the chain too still, somehow.

news from vircurex 27 May 2012 - Disabling I0C Deposits / Withdrawals NEW The I0C chain's hashing power is down to 8GHash for unknown reasons. Due to the risk of a double spend attack, I0C deposits and withdrawals are put on hold.

Is it safe to come back, I see there were 9 gigs hashing the other day.
What has been updated and tweaked? What is the payout schema? Do you expect payouts to be similar, better, or less than before the troubles started.

The problem was I compiled an unstable bitcoind version. Rolled it back to 0.6.2.2.
Payout scheme is as before. Everything is back to normal concerning that issue.
I will be restarting p2pool and temporarily stopping i0coin mining until that is straightened out. Payouts will continue of already mined bocks. This will cause a 30 second bump.

Hi! I've been mining here for a while.
I want to experiment with Litecoin mining as my CPU is not used at night. I have Athlon x3 455 and if I'm mining on all 3 cores it seem to drastically affect my GPU mining. While using 2 or only 1 core it is OK. Miners: CGminer and pooler's for Litecoin.
Is that normal or I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Have you tried to renice minerd to 19 when using the 3 cores?

Have you tried to renice minerd to 19 when using the 3 cores? Do you mean pooler's miner flags or process priority? Because I'm running it with no flags and at lowest priority. Forgot to mention, I'm using Windows 7 64. Forgive my noobness...

So, maybe you'll just have to leave that core free to handle the other tasks... Or try some *nix OS...

I think that's normal. From my experience GPU mining needs SOME cpu available, and litecoin mining uses every last erg of CPU that is available. IMHO litecoin is so worthless I don't see why I'd stress my CPU so much, unless I was trying to stress test it under load for some new OC setting. M

I have a 6 core system, and for best performance of cgminer, I set the litecoin miner at lowest priority and only ran it on 5 cores.

I just switched Cognitive over to this pool and so far everything is looking good.
I'm using this because the Cognitive host machine is barely powerful enough to host 18 x6500s, and definitely wouldn't keep up if we added P2Pool into the mix.
Thanks for this service!

OK, so it is normal behaviour. Thank you four your attention.
Btw. if it is'nt offtopic, what do you actually do with your Litecoins? All I can find is sell them on vircurex...

I would think all anyone does with the rest of the currencies is exchange them to BTC. That means someone, of course, is buying them. The people buying would probably be those who speculate... buy low, sell high. Not really sure. M

Nice that Cognitive will be using p2pool! I may buy some shares, then...

I've bee mining on this subpool for a while (BTW, great work JayCoin) and I've never bothered with all the alt-coins until today. So I registered addresses for all of them, except i0coin, somehow registering for this one doesn't work. My question is, what happened with all the alt-coins that I've mined before that? There were addresses on the NMC, IXC & DVC tabs on the pool's site but I didn't set them, so the coins probably were sent somewhere (some temp wallets maybe)? Is there any chance to get them back, or am I mistaken and they are gone?

I think they get donated to the other miners on the pool, because my alt coin share is always higher than bitcoin share. Umm....thanks for the alt coins...

Restarted i0coind recently. Waiting for it to catch up. If everything is kosher, I will restart i0coin mining tonight.

Hope you enjoyed my coins, fellow miners ;) you're not getting any more :P ;) On a side note: JayCoin, could it be possible to add DOA/Stale stats to the individual miners' Current stats -> Hashrate tab as well?

I feel sorry for 16hu2aQAqzR7Q6UANCNeBG1Fr2GRydGrZz he always has a 50% stale rate and its screwing up the Efficiency Rate: ~93.31% and I think the local DOA rate: 10.1GH/s (11% DOA).
I can't wait for I0coin to come back up because I use it to figure out what my current share % is for all the coins is because it generates so fast.
