In my view, I think that bitcoin will be universally used in online shops and a lot of things online.

There will be ATM machine for bitcoin anywhere just like Bank ATM Machine.

Nah, I think he's being sincere and is out of bitcoin.  I don't know what he sees as far as the future of bitcoin is concerned, but his is one man's opinion and I shan't lose sleep over it.  I am very interested in how bitcoin will react to his opinion, however.  My holdings aren't exactly enormous, but enough to keep me interested. 

My take on the future is that as long as the dark markets are around and as long as bitcoin proves useful to gamblers, it'll be here and it'll get used.  I don't think bitcoin is going away any time soon.

Well history tells us, where we going in future, because history repeats itself.

My prediction - BTC will become the de facto digital currency within 2 years. King of Coins. {Not just on dominance, but retail acceptance, and track record}

But BTC will not stay there for long. Someone will create the perfect coin, for governments to manipulate, and they would find ways to regulate people, to force them to use that.

People have too diverse views on poliitics and other human factors, for them to adopt a single currency world wide.

Until then, we ride the BTC wave, and then climb onto the next wave, whatever that will be. Currency Surfers.

Is always have been bad news about bitcoin dropping down I think that is just a normal think.
If we don't see a price of bitcoin about 200 dollars and just above 300 dollars I think I am fine with it.

Mike Hearn's leaving really grabbed a lot of attention. Which will make ppl to rethink what BIP proposals they should support and make bitcoin move forward with big blocksize. I tend to support it as well.

Yeah we need to take initial step to introduce bitcoins to our friends and family as you said very few people know what bitcoin is so unless it is not introduced in proper way, people would hesitate in knowing and using bitcoins, and if they accept or reject that is their individual decision, but promoting bitcoin in a positive way can make a difference.

XT could still be a success, maybe he left XT because he is over it with BTC?
There are enough supporters of it, and the cleverly engineered DDoS attacks were not enough to put them off the project.

Im not happy with a project where the devs dont listen to the community and are only thinking of themselves.
Perhaps its a cleverly engineered way to make the devs listen? Would not surprise me if they decide to increase block size as they watch the markets slump to an all new low.

Satoshi never intended on keeping a high block size anyway. Something needs to be done before the whole network falls over. Its already in a bad shape with transactions taking ages to confirm for people.

Bitcoin just need mass adoption from people over the world. We just waiting till people start realized what bitcoin is.
