The issue we are having is the wallet keeps sticking at certain blocks and freezes. I have restarted the download 4 times. This time it hasn't gotten stuck but is downloading the blockchain real slow. Its at 174227. I'm waiting for microthosting.com to get back to me why this is occurring. If I can't get this to work I might have to move everything to another server. Thanks for your patience.
No big deal for me. Just having some fun with the situation. We've all had our little issues with bitcoins every now and then. Any way, good luck on the issue, and thanks for the great banking services you've provided the community and me personally. |

Also, I have seen downloads of the block chain posted on this forum, but it may allow for more of a security risk then you are willing to take.
If you have your own local Bitcoin client, it would be best to copy that block database, since you can trust it completely. If you have a newer version of Bitcoin, be sure to check the "Detach databases at shutdown" option before closing your client and copying the files. |

Sorry I haven't been responsive the last few days but it looks like we were able to move our bitcoin client to another server and everything looks like its up and running. All back interest payments and withdrawals will be sent out this evening. I want to thank everyone for being very patient.

How will the rate changes at bitcoin savings and trust affect your PPT program come August 1st? Will you be implementing a Trust Account service? if so, do you know what the rates will be at this point?

As soon as I find out what's going on with my account I will let everyone know what the changes will be to the PPT accounts registered at my website. I will be receiving a Trust Account under Pirate's BTCST. Business will be carried along as usual. You will receive the same passthrough rate(6.75%) as before and can still use the website for deposits and withdrawls. There will be another option available for deposits but I will have to take a look at it when it's ready and see if it's something I would want to use. If you have any quesitons feel free to ask.

hk many thanks, just to report the successful conclusion of a hk 10 week special deposit @ 3% per week compounding, BTC400 invested on the 25th April & BTC537.57 received back on the 4th July, in the time period the bitcoin price also rose from $5.10 to $6.63 approx or 30% which made for a nice icing on the cake ~ the opportunity to invest much appreciated & I highly recommend hk's services Edit 2012 07 14: As someone PM'D me to ask, yes I do plan to re-invest with HK in the near future & long term. |
