question, how much is an acceptable HW number?
i got one that in 24 hours has over 100 and one in the 30s

not overclocked and running around 40c.

here is a little reminder for us     well  for me.

vi /etc/config/asic-freq

cause I got a new one to try!!

I got a working freq!!!!

231.25     just started testing it

lets hope it works for some:

looks like your hashing at 419g/hs .. i always look at the avg.

Let me know how that Freq goes. Mine never averaged over 440 at 231.25.
225 was actually higher GH/s for me. Yeah.. it was strange. No HW errors, but 225 ended up being better. I may try it again.

new set of numbers:

So some of my miners require a restart about every 12-17 hours - they occasionally show up with the dreaded "x" but then upon a restart they are all good to go,

I'm really tired of having to restart them with the gui,  is there anyone out there that can help me with an automated reboot option in the

"Scheduled Tasks
This is the system crontab in which scheduled tasks can be defined."

that i can save and autorestart the miners - once or twice a day lets say

12midnight and 12 midday?

Regards

loki.

hmmm.. my S3's been hashing at least a week @250 clock and 490 - 500+ g/hs with no degraded hash rates, and no dreaded x's ..
except for one that was a problem but i basically troubleshooted it and got it to hash at @237 clock and 475 - 480 g.hs .. still no reboots though.

I have 2 questions about the Antminer:

1. Does it matter if i only use 2 powerplugs instead of 4?

2. currently my miner only hashes at max 200GH/S is this due to the power or should i check the some other things?

Thnx in advanced

did u plug in both boards or put two plugs into one board ??

I can't configure one of two antminers I received today. After connecting my laptop to it, adding an IP address in the same subnet I can ping it, but the web interface just refuses the connection and ssh-logins don't work with the default root/root combination.

What's wrong with this unit and how can it be fixed?

er maybe it is just me but check your router so that the internal network stuff 193.xxx.xxx.xxx or whatever is different..I had that problem it was the wrong IP
on my setup even thou I changed nothing it just changed it on my router when say i plugged something else in the hub....made it 'fixed' address on the router
and all was well

others  on here have better minds then me on this just struck me as perhaps you maybe having the same issue

if not ignore my reply ..just trying to help even if clueless ..my equip this happened with was a knc jupiter but it was a router setup problem equip likely
I would have had the same probem with an antminer

My internal network uses a different subnet, so to set it up I just connect it to my laptop and set up a temporary network in the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. This worked fine the the other antminer. As stated I can ping the device, so it seems to be sort of up.

Man that's too long of a wait for the S3+ (which is really just what the S3 was SUPPOSED to be) and the kit for the S1's.  A month in the BTC world is like two years in the real world.

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

Any word on new firmware update to make user interface more stable and usable?  Maybe with selectable freq from the interface?  How about updated cgminer or driver information like everyone has been asking?  Any chance you guys can focus on making what we have run better now?

Thanks

Bitmain is just going to solomine for a month and give you the left overs whilst making you pay, in advance of course...

They are picking up all the bad habits from other sellers.  Sad what made bitmain stand out they are slowly changing.  In stock, price drops to give us a chance to ROI, coupons... All the reasons I bought so many units from them and encouraged others to also.  Hope they go back to what made them the best by far.

Will the S1 kit run as cool as the S3 without a case cover?

Question.  I'm using the Ant Monitor and I have most of my devices OC'ed to 225 and doing ~452hmash each.  Ant Monitor says they are doing this

S1:210   1d 15h 7m 57s   490.91   452.9   0   0.0022%   0   1,024   UUU   0.3156   0.0607
S1:211   3d 9h 29m 57s   424.16   453.3   0   0.0041%   0   1,024   UUU   0.1496   0
S1:212   3d 9h 29m 58s   455.29   452.68   0   0.0142%   0   1,024   UUU   0.202   0
S1:213   3d 9h 28m 57s   423.47   453.2   0   0.0179%   0   1,024   UUU   0.3813   0
S1:214   3d 9h 27m 58s   460.6   452.4   0   0.0013%   0   1,024   UUU   0.2938   0
S1:215   2d 23h 29m 2s   469.49   441.03   0   0.0084%   0   1,024   UUU   0.1663   0
S1:216   3d 9h 27m 1s   455.64   453.34   0   0.0011%   0   256   UUU   0.2998   0
S1:217   3d 9h 25m 58s   435.15   443.72   0   0.0083%   0   256   UUU   0.2677   0.0031
S1:218   3d 9h 24m 1s   440.79   452.95   0   0.0018%   0   1,024   UUU   0.3378   0.0363
S1:219   3d 9h 23m 5s   488.76   453.47   0   0.0056%   0   256   UUU   0.3617   0
S1:220   1d 15h 13m 54s   470.51   439.49   0   0.0022%   0   1,024   UUU   0.2996   0.0491
S1:221   1d 15h 13m 58s   444.42   440.46   0   0.0011%   0   1,024   UUU   0.2021   0

so .0011 -.0179% HW.  what is a good target HW threshold to aim for with OC'ing?

also I had a spike in rejects with ghash yesterday but before that i was virtually 0 rejects.  They are now dropping as the average climbs.  anyone else see that happen?

Thx
