yes we have an API and quite a few people are using it already, but we only published a very simple sample client. https://www.fairlay.com/api/ The possibility to pull out funds early if you have bet on all outcomes will be implemented soon. As most users do not bet on all outcomes this had no high priority so far.

For Betfair we have some apps that help us do the trading. the most known is Geeks Toy and there is another one called Traderline. These have a ladder system that helps you buy and sell your bet at different Odds! I think this is a good opportunity for developers... It would be great to have this kind of apps to help trade Bitcoin sportsbets.

Yes, Geeks Toy is a great tool. However, the BTC trading volume is not comparable with Betfair yet to make it really worth the developing costs, but we will definitely keep it in mind :-).

Indeed, the BTC volume is very low compared to current markets, but the tendency is to increase... a lot; when that day comes you might wanna be prepared and become the market leader. Good luck with your Site!

The syncing with Pinnacle as regards to eSports is rather poor, often doesn't add matches until too late and leaves lines open for too long (and if you try to bet on them, it gives you an error without telling you that it's too late).

thanks for the input. Keep in mind that the Pinnacle API is a bit slower than their GUI. Anyway, we will probably increase the update intervals for the eSports closing times as they seem to change more often. I'll let you know when it's done. Regarding the time the markets are filled with orders is not in our hands.
EDIT: We create new markets every 10 minutes based on the basic pinnacle feed. It usually takes not more than 15 minutes for the market makers to fill them up with orders. So you should find every eSport market on Pinnacle after a maximum of 25 minutes. Did you experience something else?

Not sure, but 25 minutes is probably too long for eSports: 1) A common format (at least in SC2) is a 4 player group, where the first two players play each other, then the other two players play each other, and then there is a loser's match and a winner's match, and lastly the winner of the loser match plays the loser of the winner match (perhaps this is called tournament format). In this case, the lines for the first 2 matches can be created in advance, but you need to keep up for the other 3 matches. 2) (this is relevant for all esports i believe) When there are multiple maps/rounds in a match, sometimes pinnacle only opens the market for the first map ahead of time, and opens the others as they go. In this case you also need to be updated frequently. I'm not sure how they do it, but nitrogen is better in this regard.

Good news. After reaching out to our market makers we will provide markets much sooner (within 5 minutes after release) than before, especially eSports markets. It might take a week or two.

Sick. Would you be willing to say who your market makers are by the way? For the sake of transparency.

4 months left and your site still has the same bug(s ) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673475.msg11232236#msg11232236Browsing your page: Ivory Coast +2.5 is available After click, the market is empty Back button, and woala it shows correct, but only 1 market , the earlier opened market If you search one of the teams only 6 handicap markers available (like pinnacle) It is time to remove the not available markets with fake back/lay values and not showing them when users browsing your site (or correct it to - - ) Where the hell do you (the browsing page) read these old data (back/lay values) from ? It is your own database, so why cant you (page) read valid data from it?

great odds, Will place my first bets. I can place anonymous bets or register for an account. Is there any advantage for opening an account?

We recommend an account if you plan to place more than one bet and I hope that's the case. The anonymous bets are only accepted after one confirmation and this can take a while these days. In the meantime the odds can change or the market can close. Furthermore on-chain betting increases the bitcoin traffic and therefore the manual work on our side. Thus we charge a 0.5mBTC fee for cashouts from anonymous betting.
Sorry we have no help section right now and yes, the UI needs a bit of time to get used to, especially for people who never bet on an exchange like Betfair before. But we are still in beta, so the UI will be improved in the next time. A bet slip is planned for example.

These are all events that have already started (pinnacle doesn't offer the lines anymore). It just looks cluttered.

What's the cashout fee after opening an account instead? Regarding Match Spread for HomeTeam -1: if HomeTeam wins by exactly one goal, all bets are refunded in full?

Yes, all bets are refunded to asnwer the last question. We have no cashout fee at the moment.
We display markets a few minutes longer for the case that our closing times are not up to date. The fact that the closing time was off by one hour seems strange. If that happens more often, please tell us again. We couldn't reproduce it for now.
