Has the volume at fairlay improved or not during these sports downtime? I guess people are now moving to esports but there are not so many selections there. Are most of the bets markets there made by you danshan or is that all Fairlay? I do not have an account there,,, but I am thinking about it for future, I saw one bettor making bets on Fairlay at good odds.

I would assume downtimes have hurt all books.

Esports are huge and I am taking tons of esports action but it does not come close to regular sports.

I create markets but mainly I just place unmatched orders and others fill them because the odds are the absolutely the best in the market period.

the site is not user friendly because of the exchange type layout and difficulties navigating, kinda why I built the app really

I think if you are looking for the best odds and instant payouts without all the requirements that other books require its definitely worth having an account.

you can also build simple programs that can scan fairlay and find +EV bets and bet them automatically.

say you like the Browns +7 and want that at -110 or better, you can build a simple program that will keep checking the Browns and if someone places an order or the odds shift in the market to where that is available you can automatically fill it.

so many options with things like that.

but for the typical bettor it is worth it just for the few cents in juice you save.

Well, Huawei already put it up on top of Everest and I feel like that is saying something, it is said that it could be x10 faster than 4 and that is really cool because 4 wasn't really all that slow neither, the very fast improvements on mobile internet connections happened mostly in the past 10 to 15 years, before that it wasn't really a consideration at all, nowadays it is so important that basically it is a vital point of our lives. Could it affect the speed of the games?

Of course it would but it would be on the client side and not server side, server side is probably using something much better anyway, but the users would be able to connect to it a lot faster thanks to their newly found pace. I however think 5G will be postponed to 2021, with this lockdown and all, it must be have been put on hold for a while.

Hey there danshan! I've been off fairlay for a really long time -- me and Covid lockdown didn't do too well since I bet mainly football.

Looks like I missed a huge DDoS attack, is the site suffering from another right now? Time to get back in on action -- I still have my EPL bet to settle on Fairlay waiting for a year now haha (on Liverpool winning EPL).

Attacker has to be crazy if they think they could just ddos a website and get away with a ransom, I mean sure you could hope to get money, but do you really not think for the website at all?

If you attack a website and want ransom to stop, you could get that money, stop for a while, spend that money, and when you have none left you can attack again and ask for more money once again, whats there to stop you from doing that? How could a website trust you that you won't attack them again when you get paid?

At the end of the day paying the ransom would resolve absolutely nothing, hell there is nothing that stops you from keep attacking even after getting the ransom, so it is not really a solution at all. I get that attacker only thought about the money but when you do something like this you should at least try to see it from websites perspective as well.
