Awesome Miner has a feature that makes sure Windows will not automatically go into sleep mode as long as the application is running. This feature has been there for many years and ensures that mining, rules, history collection and so on always are running. This is not linked to the use of audio.

The feature should however not prevent the display from being automatically turned off. When testing on Windows 11 right now, my screen do get turned off automatically after a while - even when Awesome Miner is running - and this is the correct behavior.

The output from powercfg on my system also includes AwesomeMiner.exe as in your example - but I don't have the Realtek audio entry.

1) When you verified this issue, I assume you closed down Awesome Miner and verified that the screen did turn off automatically in this case? I just want to make 100% sure that your Windows installation can turn off your screen automatically.

2) Is this on Windows 10 or 11?

Have you thought about replacing Nicehash with Unminable in profit sharing any more? I asked about it a while ago, and you said you'd look into it. I set Unminable up to work with Awesome Miner, but it doesn't show up in the "Online Services" tab, or the "Balances" tab. I hope you can find time to do this.

I was in contact with the Unminable team about making an integration a while ago. There were some lack of APIs for Awesome Miner to use but I will follow up on this and see if we can make more progress.
