Navtech Anon BetaStarted: Wednesday 28 September 2016Progress Report Phase 1: Low value transactions with small test group on single server pair - complete
Phase 2: Medium value transactions with large test group on single server pair - in progress
Phase 3: Medium value transactions with large test group on multi server cluster - pending
Phase 4: Large value transactions with large test group on multi server cluster - pending
We have successfully completed Phase 1 of the beta test and have since opened Phase 2 to the public. We have also increased the amount to 1000 NAV sent per transaction for the phase 2 tests and widened the group to 24 participants. We will be looking to add more servers to the cluster over the coming days for Phase 3 and quickly follow with Phase 4 which will be a stress test of the cluster prior to full scale public launch.
Only minor adjustments have been necessary from the findings of the test groups. Everything is operating as intended so far. We are hoping to have everything squared away for public launch in time for the end of the Thunderclap Campaign on Thursday 20th of October.

If you're interested in getting a sneak peek of the system or helping us with the testing, please send me your email and I'll add you to the slack chanel #navtech-anon-beta Cheers, Craig.

I think the Thunderclap Campaign is an amazing way to inform the world of NAV's story and its all around potential. I am a simple investor for some time now now of NAV and fully trust the direction and development of NAV. I am extremely comfortable sharing my enthusiasm with all my Facebook friends. However, I struggle with the best way to explain what NAV is in elegant fission and minimal verbosity. I think it would be great if I could just cut-n-paste a short and concise message about NAV and post it on my Facebook and also provide a link to Thunderclap. I think more people like me would participate in getting the word out before the Oct 20th date if they could effortlessly and safely cut-n-paste something that is well written into Facebook. This way I(we) investors, new and old, could feel good that I(we) helped contribute in further getting the word out. I ask the NAV community to share something here that I(we) can share on Facebook and point to Thunderclap Campaign for more detail. Thank you.

I think he is trying to say, we're stable at 6700sat like we were around 300sats. Anyway 30k-50k sat is plausible around christmas. For me read the developer deep working in the slack channel is sweet as chopin music. buy, withdraw, stake, and enjoy the life. 6700 Sats = 300 Sats . Those that have Believed will no what im saying.

I've been staking 24/7 on my laptop. Is staking just random stake amounts and random income amounts because I am staking all my coin and it just sometimes stakes 2000 for eg then 5000 and all income amounts are differnet. Avg 1 NAV an hour. Just curious how it works? Tempted to ditch more Monero for NAV haha.
Cheers
Maybe someone can answer to this? I am also interessted how it works. If I compare diffrent coins, all working little bit diffrent. The generation of coins in Peercoin looks random: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ppc/#@inflationNAV is more constant: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/#@inflationShadowCash generated constant new coins and each block little bit more: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sdc/#@inflationBlackCoin generated constant, each block exactly 1.5 coins: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/blk/#@inflationFrom what it depends on, how many coins are generated in a block?

Yes, i have 0.3 0.22 0.66 3.75 1.81 1.13 very different amounts... And also some stakes show "generated but not accepted" I've been staking 24/7 on my laptop. Each one of these chunks is essentially staking and trying to solve the next block in the chain. The chance the chunk of coins has to solve the block is based on the amount of coins in the chunk as well as their age, the result of this is known as their network weight, the higher the network weight, the greater chance of solving a block. When one of these chunks of coins solves the next block, the reward is also based on the amount/age of coins in the chunk. for ex: you have a chunk of 1000 coins that are exactly one year old when they stake/solve the block, you would be rewarded a full 5% of 1000 [50 coins], if those coins were only 1 day old, the reward would be (5% * 1/365) * 1000 [~0.13 coins]. I could be wrong, but pretty sure that is generally how all POS coins work. the difference in generation of coins between different alts is most likely due to how often and regularily wallets are left open/staking. If everyone leaves their wallet open 24/7, the staked amounts will be very linear. Whereas if people only open their wallet for staking once a month, the results would non-linear. When a chunk of coins stakes a block, these coins will not be available until the block they solved is confirmed, 60 confirmations. After 60 blocks, your coins will become available again and will have most likely been split up into two smaller chunks. From example above, you would probably now have two chunks of 525 coins ( assuming they were a year old when staked) visible in under coin control. edit: yes, Remy_5 would have a much better explanation than me, let me know if it ins't clear as mud. :-)

We can't control any webpage publishing their own info about NAV. Any news or info are welcome!!! Not really. I sold part of my NAV because I saw market depth looked like NAV was going down. I wanted to buy in later to have more NAV because of the news of tomorrow. But 5 min after my sell order this news comes in and there goes NAV Oh well, I invested this part in another coin now. I will put it back in NAV in the future. In the meanwhile I am holding on all NAV I have. Life is a bitch

Don't be scared for those movements, volatility is very high in cryptoworld, and also manipulation from big players... If you trust in the project..... I only say one word: HOLD!!!!! even the sky is falling into the ground! you must HOLD! EDIT: Someone sold right now around 10btc at 7000sat. You still have an opportunity if you put appropiate orders. good luck! We can't control any webpage publishing their own info about NAV. Any news or info are welcome!!! Not really. Hi NAV Team,
With all the attacks like DDoS, 51% attack etc. happening on alt coins, what are NAV's security capabilities? More details on this would be helpful.
