Ok so I read the code can be revealed in the above scenario. This has many implications to security. I know security is an extremely high priority for the Navajocoin Anonymous Development team. The other alternative is to get an expensive third party verification of the code and then have 0 masternodes. Then the other alternative is reveal the code and Free verification as many can tweak the code for their masternode setup it can be verified by any third party. Witch solves a problem of trust in the system in a Anonymous transaction overall . I hope i make since
Regardless the implementation is going to make a huge difference to daily volume dependent on what is chosen. It could be already finished or just starting only they know On the other hand this could be a new birth of new code in how Masternodes run that is tweakable but only exclusive to how Navajocoin works and only compatible with Navajo Coin. This is why I started this topic on this forum this is what I personally think about in my next round of investing. The decisions of implimentation will influence what I do.Thats why im relaxed but excited as well. Please continue this topic as its very important to ultimate daily volume
Also please let me know of im right or wrong totally in the write direction or wrong . Just dont stay silent ......
You're right, this sure brings a lot of security risks as the whole wide world is able to find bugs/vulnerabilities in the code and abuse them. To prevent this from happening DASH ( previously known as Darkcoin) underwent a thorough security audit by a professional security consultant named Kristov Atlas before going open source. Go ahead and take a look at the results of the DASH (Darkcoin) code review. So whether the NAV team decides to use the DASH source code and alter it, use another alternative, or write their own code from scratch, a thorough security audit of the code is always highly advisable before even thinking about going open source. With that in mind, doing so will require some effort from the community in terms of a fundraiser. Security audits are not for free, in fact they cost quite some money. Development and code review are only a small portion of realizing a Masternode system, there's much more to it than just writing and reviewing code. If this whole process of creating a Masternode system is properly and carefully executed, and is especially well thought out I'm confident this coin has a chance to become a direct competitor with some of the top anon coins out there. The DASH security audit was cloud funded. Continued steady progress down the development path will make it easier to cloud fund one for Nav.

All FUD, BS and nonsense posts has been deleted. If You're not interested in Navajo Coin or do not want to support it You do not have to post here. NAV has always been a long term altcoin, so it's development takes time often more than initially planned. Development Team is working for free, we're covering costs with our personal funds, we never had any IPO/ICO/Premine so stop telling us when we "have to" release project A or project B.
Support & discuss or go to other altcoin's topics.
Regards

We should start getting serious about banning people by reporting their post's to the bitcointalk.org moderator. I remember i mentioned i got banned for 5 days for just mentioning Navajocoin on another forum. The communities on other forums are extremely extremely strict . We here a the most relaxed community. It takes a lot of energy . So if you find simple FUD. Report it to bitcointalk.org. can't wait for the new forum
In context is fine like above. But not the crap

Actually all we need is the official forum. Then this thread should have a link to that forum and be locked

Usually i would ignore you. But I'm in a position to debate this comment. First of all we are not losers. Navajocoin has been good to us . Out of 400 Altcoins this coin has handed most large profits in the many of thousands of dollars. You gloat about selling at peak 4000 . We bought and sold at many peaks my friend. Also your friend Ryan preaches long-term investing. We do the same. Also remember i hold 0 Nav. So keep doing me favors. I am open in my position and proud of my efforts.

You guys alveena & sadlings from 2 separate pump groups which is a good sign are ms quoting pre Anon support. I got many to buy at 300 - 800 sats. Hodling is an independent choice. Any one can buy and sell when they wish. We are all in the same game. If you sold at 4000 you made Max 300 to 400. The long term holders will be the ultimate winners when the FULL project is delivered and the last laugh

This is a problem at 4000 Sats . You are capping the price down hard. Which is scarring off the new investors. Do everyone a favour and please remove

Im not familiar with the anon tech here, are masternodes serving an actual coin-mixing purpose or are they simply being used to stabilize the network/price?

Hi, main part is not coin-mixing, but the subchain network to transport information through the CSG and NMG. The masternodes are simply for network stability and not related to anon function! Sometime the terms and meaning got mixed up ... I just saw the OP whitepaper link is gone after redesign. I will check this! As long you can take a read here: (old design, but technical up to date!) http://navajocoin.org/files/navajo_whitepaper_march2015.pdfregards shahim

Very impressed with the the way the cloud funding was done. It definitely requires some organisation and trust from the community. By the way, what's cloud funding? I think you mean crowdfunding? "Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people, typically via the internet." ~ Wikipedia

~ StruggI dont agree Its very bad idea closing this thread because all people interested in crypoto coins (any coins) first go here and checking/reading on bitcointalk org. If we close this topic all this people here stop reading about Nav. And people forget. I think marketing actions and promo coin in other media is not enought without open thread here on bitcointalk. I know ist here many trolls and fuders but Nav comunity can write on both forums. One with no fudders and trolls and second here to all new incomers. We need choice lesser evil and keep this thread open even after we finish forum on Nav site. We can Vote about it if You want in Nav Cooperating System when our forum finished.

Closing topic is very bad move.
For example sometime ago I've been reading XCurrency topic. I was never invested innit, but just interested in this project. Now when its topic is locked i almost forgot there is such a coin. And look at its price.
Closing bitcointalk topic = killing coin. Its that simple.

Just let this topic to live his own life and all important things and problem will be voted in the private forum. (Ofc main advertisement and update lets publish here too!) When someone wants to have an influence and more current informations about nav he will log in the navajo forum but this topis is needed as a" bridge " between both places.
