Question

Will my NAV Coins on Bittrex Auto swap?

Yes just put them there

When should we put them there ?
You will announce when the Swapping starts right ? because I don't like having many coins on a exchange.

Yes we are announcing exact timing before it starts!

hi:)
Only bittrex available for swap ?!
New algo or still x13 after swap mandatory fork ?!

Keep going the good job..
Cheers..

Only Bittrex at this stage. I am in communication with the other exchanges to find out their procedures.

Anybody knows how to open the qt in a Linux invironment?

You need to compile the wallet yourself from the source code for linux. There are instructions in the source code itself on github. Perhaps get them to jump on the slack channel if they're unable to follow the instructions.

Might be worth them waiting for the new wallet though since there will be slightly different libraries required for compiling the new wallet.

Cheers,
Craig.

Its a relief honestly that the Cryptsy and Big Vern exchange collapse will not be a negative influence on this great project with the wallet going to 2.0 in the next week's.

We should see significant market confidence return to NAV and also see a change in the Richlist. With any NAV wallets on Cryptsy disappearing forever  Smiley

I am happy to say goodbye to any of my NAV Coins on that dishonest exchange.

Bittrex has been world class and the NAV Team creating a exchange interface with Bittrex is a fantastic decision. That will pay off greatly for all when 2.0 arrives.

We have waited along time to see all this great work come to light.

The future outlook for Crypto currency’s to do financial transactions in real-time from anywhere in the world to anyone in the world in a secure and Private manner is a step closer.

Financial privacy should be a fundamental norm for all good citizens and all proper transactions.
The current situation with Banks charging fees to withdraw your own money from an ATM is so absurd that it signals and highlights 0 competition in the financial transaction sector. ($2.50)

Anyway in the future with a NAVCoin Debit card via a Decentralized ATM and Unbreakable privacy backbone the cost of financial transactions will be 5 - 10 cents and not $2.50. The day will come it's only a matter of Time.

Lol mate :)miniupnpc is missing on that systems.

If it is an debian based make a "apt-get install miniupnp" there should be some pakage like that. Otherwise search in the repository and install the libs for this.

Also install all dependencies which are noted here https://github.com/navcoindev/navcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txt
That ahould bring him forward!

Best would be you download the blockchain data from our website. Unzip this inside the appdata working folder Navcoin. After this, you should come forward.

Yes I know, this can be a pain in the ass sometimes. The staking unit will be mostly automatic.

----website backup begin----
Ok fellas.  User @Strugg was good enough to get back to me with regards to the dedicated NavajoCoin forum and we pretty much seem to be in agreement on letting it go expire for now given the negligible amount of traffic it's pretty much had since it's creation.  He was also kind enough to offer to cover any and all associated costs with bringing it back online at a later date should enough users make sufficient noise to bring it back online.  So this is my official heads up that the forum will be going offline 5 days from now (apr. 23rd).

It's been quite the learning experience setting it up and I'm tickled pink that the dev's now seem to be making some pretty serious progress on recent BIP implementations, etc. and really looking forward to seeing what else comes down the pipe for this coin.

Keep up the good work fellas.

signing off

The current wallet is indeed quite a hog. I found it best after it syncs (which could take almost a day even if you download the chain) to close it and take a full zip backup of the entire %appdata% folder (in windows) every week.
Then if it ever breaks just delete everything and restore the backup so I will be at most one week behind. And there is a good chance it will break if the computer hangs or there is a power cut while its open.

Thankfully though its mostly a moot point now, with the new wallet coming. Can't be soon enough.
