Nice job NAV community weathering this shit show sea of red on the markets today.

Yes we are nearly the only coin holding the sat price and even rised with the btc usd price!

Who was the ine buying zec at rate of 3299btc?  I hope he did not jump from a bridge yet....
You really think a real investor bought at that price ? I think this was just the team itself buying its own coin. I think they try to keep the coin as expensive as possible for as long as possible to make investors buy it at much higher price. I say this is just 1 big manipulation. I don't trust the team already. I prefer the NAV team big time.

It also may be like a 0.0001 zec sell..  So perhaps manipulation but i guess some people lost a lot trying to jump on the train and earn thousands of btc... There is a lot of people that do not investigate in there own investment!
But how can you earn 1000 BTC if you pay 1000 BTC for 1 coin ? I just can't believe a real investor is buying at current prices. It has the smell of manipulation all over it. At the moment this coin is worthless for any investor and it will be like that for a long time. NAV is a much better investment. Unfortunately Bitcoin is making almost all altcoins crash but once the Bitcoin rise stops, I am pretty sure NAV holders will be rewarded for their patience.  Wink

They weren't real sales. its was exchanges running bots to make sure the trading works and its functional. i think...

I will never touch that shit coin again.  A launch like that is all smoke and mirrors.

I'm sure that coin has a lot of people shedding real tears. But it does seem to have a strong hype machine which might help it a lot in the future.

Yes let's talk about NAV.
Mine ZEC, dump them while price is high and buy NAV while price is low.

Hi Nav Coiners,

Just a quick note from me to let you know that we are all on track for November 1.

We've purchased some extra servers and are in the process of deploying the code to these and running the full range of tests.

I will be back with more information at the end of tomorrow when I've put in another days work.

Cheers,
Craig

NAV has remained largely unaffected by the BTC price rises, all because of anticipation of NOV 1  Cheesy

I think the following is interesting to know for NAV investors:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/zcash-unleashes-trading-frenzy/

During summer, a number of popular online drug markets added Monero because of its promises of anonymity. However, Monero can still potentially be traced, although to do so would be very complex and difficult.

So it might just well be that NAV is indeed going to be the first true anonymous coin.

I really want to check the anon transactions/network.

My Plan is to test the new anon wallet as soon it is released. After that, i want to run multiple anon nodes in some servers to give healthy to the network. And let's see if some hackers/programmers can check the code and try to trace any transaction. This will be crucial for the success of the coin.

If nobody can trace a transaction, we will see 200k-500k satoshi. But it will be around 2017.

Regards.

Will NAV compete with Monero and ZCash?
well apparently this isn't the nav thread anymore. so here we go...
I think there is enough room for all coins to coexist currently, each one tackles a separate problem. XMR is a standard and trusted coin, if you were going to compare a coin to this it would be SDC. SDC is working on a market place and i do believe both use ring signatures. ZEC is brand new, untested and unknown to the general public so it is quite difficult to compare this to anything currently. NAV is trusted and proven, did you know that the anon network was already proven and thoroughly tested? It's only being re-released in a new language(correct me if i'm wrong here). There has been a bounty to crack the NAV anon for years. But with this recoding of the anon structure it makes it faster and easier to make all of this code decentralized, which will be just around the corner after anon relaunch. So will nav compete with other coins? Of course, but there is currently room for everyone, and everyone should make there own informed decisions.

I downloaded the wallet and followed the guide.  The wallet has synced and a deposited a 999 Nav into the wallet.  Does the wallet automatically stake the coins for me or do I have to do something else?  This is the first time I have tried to do this.  Also, do I have to wait for the network relaunch before it will stake?

If you followed all the steps it should start staking. Make sure to unlock your wallet (for staking only). The network relaunch is for the anon system and not needed for staking now. If you have any problems let me know!

Thanks.  I fiddled with sending NAV back and forth and everything looks good.  My network weight is low so it will take some time to see some rewards.
