http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/01/12/china-cert-blockchain-report-blasts-ripple-high-risk-security-flaws/

Still trying to access full blockchain report (done in Chinese) and very extensive. Would take me days to translate, but I am
sure after reading the report, there will be some strongly worded replies from numerous crypto enterprises. Ripple is working
on their reply and I am sure Eth, Dash, Litecoin, doge and others will follow. I hope an English text version is available soon...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi,everyone,
I have 2 problems
Since today can't sent any coins from my 3.9 wallet,i do all the normal handling after i filled in my password i get this (ERROR:Transaction creation failed).
I also have on the 10th an unconfirmed transaction, the amount is sent there is an tx ID but i didn't received it in my android wallet. So where is it now?
My wallet is synced and i have connections.

What can i do on these 2 issues, can i solve this?

Thanks

Please post the TX ID here and also some more information. Do you have an output, when you type "listunspent" inside the debug window?

thnx

Updated the Full client wallet to 3.9

And it works perfect, sync went pretty fast and its staking again like a dream!

Good job Navcoin team, looking foreward to see the network beeing used with Nav polymorph feature.
Any update on when we can expect the Navoin promotion video ? would like to spread it around.

Good luck!

Hi,Shahim,

When i look in my wallet on the normal transaction page i see this for that tx:

Status: 0/onbevestigd
Datum: 10/01/2017 16:47
Aan: MobWal NdB6bqz3oXLrMSUhQJu3vwZCiVQ5KopVck
Debet: -450.00 NAV
Transactiekosten: -0.01 NAV
Netto bedrag: -450.01 NAV

This tx id has no record on the block explorer,i guess the 3 zero's on the end are the indication that there's something wrong.
On the 'listunspent' is no sign of that tx.

On the other issue i just tried  to sent a small donation to the faucet 20 Nav and it went through in seconds
I tried direct after that to sent to my android wallet and also to Changelly in both cases the first window are you sure you want to sent  ..... Nav to (.....)i press Yes,than second window your wallet password and than (Error : Transaction creation failed )

Yes that TX never happened, that is why it does not show up on the explorer page. The 000 is no sign of a failes, but on top the 0 confirmations are.

I guess your status is now, that these are missing in your wallet. If it is like that, please open the debug window inside the wallet and run the command:

repairwallet

That should find these coins and add them to your wallet again.

This can happen, when you are active staking and try to send a block that is getting a stake. So the wallet trys to send it, but it not avaiable due status "in stake"

I hope this helps you.

I have seen that before when wallet is unlocked for staking and you try to send the password to unlock sending fails.

Try fully unlocking wallet (uncheck Staking only) then try it. you should lock the wallet again after.

How high do you think NAV will go in 2017? Please a honest estimate, the same estimate when you will cash out.

just updated to 3.9 (from 3.7). Now the wallet does not connect or sync anymore.

What do I have to do?

switched back to the old version until the issue is solved

here is the tail of the latest debug log:

upnp thread exit
Loading addresses from DNS seeds (could take a while)

it runs quite a while now

any ideas? if I switch back to 3.7 everything works fine

I still have the same issue - v3.7 works seemless and v3.9 does not connect

here is the latest debug log tail:

Quote
init message: Laden abgeschlossen
GUI: QObject::connect: No such signal ClientModel::showProgress(QString,int)
GUI: QObject::connect:  (receiver name: 'navcoin')
GUI: QObject::connect: Cannot connect (null)::showProgress(QString,int) to BitcoinGUI::showProgress(QString,int)

GUI: QObject::connect:  (receiver name: 'SendCoinsDialog')
No valid UPnP IGDs found
upnp thread exit
Loading addresses from DNS seeds (could take a while)
keypool reserve 10
keypool return 10

at this point the NAVcoin-qt client hangs with a steady process load of 12%. If I exit the client it does not stop but becomes non interactive and hangs with 12% process load. I can kill it then with the task manager. Starting v3.7 with the absolute same configuration connects immediately. Environment is Win10.

If somebody has a explanation that leads to solve the problem I will tip 10 NAV

I think that 250-300 million is quite enough for nav tech for the first time, diversifying the market, but also to try to start a business
