That means they probably did something wrong and things went wrong during software update. But I hope it is not something gravely.

No nothing was done wrong.  I have the data right in front of me, but just as a precautionary measure I want to make sure that something will not be changed next week.  They have had to manually update everyone's stats.  And I've seen situations where someone's data has been udpated later on (not done wrong, but updated a few days later).  But rest assured no data is lost, and the process will be automated very soon.
