Thanks for partaking in this discussion in a civil manner.  I agree with you that there's been many unreliable gaming sites out there in the past, especially the one's you named and not to mention other bitcoin sites that have gone "donk down".  However it's unfair and illogical to say Betcoin will follow the same route.

Betcoin is owned and backed by WPN, one of the larger poker networks out there.  They have no incentive to simply run away with player funds, and I'm sure WPN will not allow it.  They are growing rapidly, and therefore have no incentive to close up shop.  Regarding the other issues you've brought up, they're working on making the platform air tight in every aspect, but I totally agree with you that those things could be improved upon.  They're still an infant company, and there is obviously a lot of improvements to be made.  

Betcoin had its player bases emails hacked and said nothing about it didn't even acknowledge it anywhere. What do you have to say about that? THen different players are getting charged different amount in rake and customer service was as unprofessional as could be. Stick to the facts. Betcoin is NOT owned by wpn it is simply a skin of that network stop spewing lies please?

I have stated that betcoins players emails where hacked according to betcoin and betcoin has refused to make a comment on this. You are delusional get help. I didn't realize that, where/when did they say this? The last I heard was yesterday Jessica said they had actually been working on it the whole time and would have an update at the end of the week or month.

Does this mean they are only going to refund the players who have tracking software, figure it out themselves, and then request it?

That doesn't seem very fair to everyone else. 
Also, most of those players will be the same rake concsience players who are getting 100+% rakeback already.  The players they owe are the ones most likely to be clueless they were stolen from at all.  In reality, the regs who put in volume will suffer just as if the money were taken directly out of their pocket.

They should just figure out how much they owe each player with the following.

 [(Rake Taken)-(Rake that should of been taken)] - [Rake Back Paid] = Refund

I hope Betcoin tries to prevent this kind of thing in the future.  Money ending up in the wrong place is just a reality that comes with online poker - it's their job to actively look out for these times so they can immediately return the money to whoever it belongs to.  (Instead of doing nothing for months and then just keeping it bc its most convienient)

I hope other unregulated sites (some of which don't exist yet) are made aware that just because they don't answer to a regulatory third party doesn't mean they can get away with the scummy tactics that Betcoin has been using.  I want unregulated online poker to grow and I think Bitcoin makes it a real possibility.  Betcoin, however, is doing much more damage than good with their lies theft and lack of transparency.

No it doesn't because since then I have actually come to understand Xaio to be a principled individual who does try and use what influence he has to help the players.  The fact is he is an affiliate and so has limited ability to actually do anything regarding betcoin.  I also apologized to him for that exchange as I was wrong about him and his intentions.

What has happened to Betcoin?

Last week I logged into my account did the surprise box and got like 1.5 mbtc casino chips played and made wagering with 85mbtc.

I then went to poker to play and a friend online asked if I could spot him 10 chips which I did. He waited a while and didn't receive so contacted the live chat and they accused him of being me and went all nazi on him saying they were closing both our accounts because we were the same player even though we live on the opposite sides of the USA and definitely have different IP's etc. Now we both did sign up around the same date a couple years ago or so because of freeroll they were having but damn this guy Danny just went nuts on my friend and made strong accusations.

I then went into the live chat to try clear this up and again Danny insinuated myself and my friend were one person and the accounts were closed. Finally he agreed to allow us to send in copies of ID's which we did immediately to prove that we were in fact different players. Now to his credit he did take care of it fast and quickly identified us as unique players on the site.

I then put in for a withdrawl for my remaining balance of around .06btc and I check back a couple hours later and its been canceled without any reason or email explaining why. I went to live chat and Maria had no idea why either other than to resubmit. I just ended up losing it back but this place sure went to shit.

We disagree on how much they took and how long it went on.


Betcoin has maintained that the period was only 3-5 days and they feel no financial obligation.

I think it was happening for somewhere between 40-42 days for a very substantial amount, much more than 10 Bitcoin.  I also went into great detail explaining exactly how I came up with this conclusion while taking all the promos and rakeback into consideration.  I also shared evidence I gathered to back up my claim.  (Im not gonna repost it all since its ITT already, let me know if you can't find any part/I wasn't clear/somethings missing)

You have described it as a "brief period" for a "minuscule amount."  And so far have refused to elaborate.  


Do you still believe this is true?  If so, why? How are we coming to such different conclusions?

Like I said you failed to consider the multiple types of RAKEBACK that players received; some were prop players and hence received 100%+ rakeback.  Other players, such as those under this program, received 50-190% rakeback throughout that period.  In essence, both of these groups could be considered prop players to a certain degree.  And then you did not calculate the normal VIP/affiliate rakeback of the players.  When you factor in everything, the amount is minuscule.

I am absolutely considering these players Xiao and I've said before, players obv shouldn't be entitled to any refund for hands played while they were receiving 100%+ rakeback.

What about the rec players?

Random Rec player  that has no idea who is affiliate is and only has time to play about 5 hours a week.  

He has a 5 bitcoin and set some goals or somthing.  trying to grind it up playing 1 or 2 tables of 200NL HU.

From October 30 - Dec 10 he played 5000 hands.

During that time, every pot over 200 chips that he won - Betcoin accidentally steals 4 chips from him.

Every 100 chip pot, they take 1.5 chips from him.

Any pot over 40 chips, Betcoin accidentally steals a little bit from him.

Do you think after the 5000 hands, this will add up to a minuscule amount for this player?



What about random degen who hits a slot jackpot and decides to sit at 25/50 to play a bumhunter for an hour.

During the over rake period, Betcoin would have taken over 140 chips from him without him ever noticing.

This went on from OCTOBER 30 to DECEMBER 10!  

I stopped bitching about the money Betcoin owes me long ago, and they probably would of paid me by now if I would just be quiet about all the people they rob who HAVE NO CLUE
