Looks like we might be in for a bit more of a fall, im sure the BTC is moving to saffron coin, its up over 100% now, but still only 200k mkt cap... Its rise has mirrored the fall here.. Up to 4th in the volume charts now as well which is interesting...

Will only buy more if BTCD is going to fall.

It's normal that it's falling a little bit like I said earlier. People want to make quick profit. You want them out of your coin. You want people that are longterm in this coin.

Yeah it's falling to two days before levels near the price I originally bought at..so not yet in loss but no profit either..I thought it would go up but I guess the coins don't last more than a day or two then they get dumped..that's why I am a lousy day trader lol always end up bagholding but I hope this coin will do good long term.

Think it's just a bot.

These are small amounts the whole time. Also the sell orders don't get larger or something like that.

You always get downs.

A constant growth is not healty. Of course it should stabilize and create some floors, but everyday a 100% growth is not healty in the long term.

Weak hands and people that are thinking short term are selling. It's better to get these people out. The coin will only benefit from this in longterm

Normal play on the exchanges, minimum amounts being sold that show the price is dwindling.

On the plus side we should have a nice new floor, which is good.

People that are jumping to SFR are looking for a quick double up and when jump back into BTCD.

Attention span of traders is not very high at all, everyone is looking for the quick profit during the day.

I think it will probably go back to 11k or 13k at the rate it is going.. I am also still holding half. I will try buy bit more in a bit.

saffron is a scamcoin
btcd is not.
someone is deliberately pushing the price down, i think
but with this few coins, they won't have as much luck as they wish they would have
look at the ratio of buys to sells - most scam coins, when in this boat, switch to 80% sells
our buys are still outnumbering our sells nearly 3:1
they can try and manipulate the numbers, but clearly we just take our coins off the exchange and wait for them to be done playing with the market, and will then resume trading like normal.

by the way, the pool had some issues with the PPCoin daemon and NOMP.  I have fixed those issues now, so there will be one more stratum restart on BTCDPool.com in a few minutes to get the peercoin mining active! Smiley

ps i idly wonder if some of the darkcoin people might be intentionally suppresing our price? nobody is making money off of trades like these...

PS  - selling into the falling prices is only letting whomever is manipulating the markets restock with coin so they can do this over again.  if nobody would sell into the low prices, then they would quickly lose all wind from their sails.

Not entirely true, cause I still make a nice profit and on this downtrend I sold higher them I'm going to buy a bit later.
It's a lot easier when you have your initial investment back I must say (like I do). Otherwise I wouldn't have the nerves...

by continually buying and selling into the manipulated prices, you are only making the problem worse.
whoever is driving the price down is only able to do so by having a large quantity of coins
they start selling at lower and lower prices and drive it down - then they need to buy back that huge quanitity of coins.  you're basically fulfilling that wish for them by selling into one of the manupulated lows.
so that next time they decide to rinse and repeat, they'll have enough coins to do it again.  heck, i'm sure they made more than enough BTC from depressing the price that much that they can buy back 140% of the btcd that they started with on the way back up.
remember XC maybe 2 monthes ago?

amen to lemmings.

So I was having a peek on coinmarketcap.com and ive noticed a coin @ #37 called "jl777hodl" is this the bytecoin fork testing for implementation with bitcoindark, if so then wow, do you ever sleep? Your speed and devotion amazes me. This pNXT fork is not buyable or minable correct?
jl777hodl is a NXT asset trading on poloniex as JLH
http://www.coinssource.com/poloniex-list-jl777hodl-jlh-first-ever-crypto-asset-listing/
It is like a mutual fund of NXT assets

you can see what it has http://nxtreporting.com/?a=18323612891099439610&c=USD

pNXT is a BoolBerry fork. In my opinion BBR is better than all the other cryptonote forks. They are already addressing the blockchain bloat issue. pNXT is meant to be a doubly pegged to NXT for internal use as a transport currency. You can think of it like XRP behaves in ripple, expect it doesnt float in price. I also made it so there are no tx fees. Basically a way to send stuff from point A to pointB without any transaction costs, and also via ring signatures.

No mining of pNXT and I am not decided on how exactly it will fit into the picture yet. Probably will just be a temporary bootstrap mechanism until there is enough privateSend volumes for a market based free floating transport currency, eg. BTCD
