a simple question - can be teleport added to the CryptoNote tech? they are looking for some upgrades.. I am still missing a lot of the culture here. We have a tech, but not much of a general philosophy presented yet

people will say it even when the price will be 10x higher than today... it will take some time, but the 10-20x increas is quite obvious. But who cares about the price, this is more about the financial freedom

It's far from too late.  This is like people complaining they wished they had bought Bitcoin at $0.50 when it was at $1.50.  BTCD should hit $10 without any issue and if the mainstream Bitcoin users start making use of the BTC->BTCD->anon FIAT route it will see $20-$50.  Or more.  And there are a plethora of other related services too which will add value. 

Don't be concerned that you didn't get in at < $0.50.  Just buy a shit ton now before it gets too much higher!

I make no promises about BTCD price, but let me tell you my experience with DRK

I discovered it early, first week it was on polo (and only polo)
scooped up 1%+ of it for cheap
it did ok, but nothing spectacular for a while, then boom! up 10x
so, I started selling cuz 10x is good gain and as DRK kept going up, I kept selling. Now I did make 200+ BTC on <10 BTC I paid, but had I just kept buying more as it went up (to a point of course), I could have made thousands of BTC!

After it went up 10x, it went up another 10x!
My issue with DRK was that it was closed source and even the basic premise of masternode mixing wasnt sounding so strong an algo, so my strategy was not so bad, I just should have waited until a bit more than 10x gain to switch to selling

people have compiled and run it, I am explaining it so not so mystery.

BTCD has gone up 10x, but from silly low price. So the question is not how far has BTCD gone up already, this is meaningless unless you have time machine to go back to get more

The question is if BTCD belongs in place 27 on coinmarketcap or place 17 or even place 7

This question you must answer for yourself and based on this answer, look at the current market cap of <$2 million and this gives you the future price you are expecting. Discount a bit as always uncertain in this sort of thing and only buy as much BTCD as you can HODL without worrying about crazy roller coaster price games that will arrive here soon.

Many people without time machine, will try to turn you into WH by doing crazy things to the price. That way they will try to get price from the past. I alert this thread when I see such attempts to manipulations. I hope this helps.

I want escalator price increase, no roller coaster. Nobody will be surprised when I deliver and by constant info, the price is reflecting of all the relevant factors discounted by odds of not completion in time, or problems with implementation. This is fine. So people that believe in me and trust that I will come through, they make the most money. People waiting until no tech risk, they make much less.

Philosophy? If my ramblings arent philosophy, not sure what is
BTCD will teleport any other coin, including cryptonotes. Just need to add support for it.

Other coins are of course free to try to keep up with me and my merry band of coders. but if they are just copying, then BTCD gets all the great features first and then all the copycats confirm BTCD had the solution first, so then the market would just gravitate to BTCD

I am open tent and I want BTCD to enhance all other crypto, anon crypto, but primarily BTC. BTCD is only coin to enable BTC itself to go dark!

Really, all the techno battles/squabbles are very silly in a non-zerosum exponentially growing market. BTCD will be teleporting BTC itself. And this allows corporations to actually think about using crypto for their finances. As leader in anon tech and crypto tech in general BTCD will be the one to pave the road for corporate acceptance of crypto.

I will be offering other coins chance to join BTCD bandwagon to "plug in" to its network via technical hooks. This provides benefits for InstantDEX to get larger audience. so, coins that cooperate with BTCD will benefit, coins that compete ....

Well lets say I am fierce competitor so they will have to deal with me if they try competing against BTCD instead of cooperating. probably not such a good idea to make me angry.

We are not zerosum market in crypto, not for a while, so why compete when cooperating makes for bigger gains for everyone?

What I was suggesting is updating the CryptoNote sourcecode and the whitepaper with the teleport feature. So the question would be, if those technologies are compatible, as you already started with the Blooberry

With teleport, I see no point to complicate it with ring signatures. I already have the ringsig code isolated and ready for injecting, but I just dont see the value and the downside is bigger blockchain, more code to write and debug, etc.

ring signatures protect with anon set of R, the number of ringsig signers. This number is not something that can be scaled up. With teleport, the anon set is N or Sum(N), depending on receiving or sending, where N is the number of telepods cloned. So the more activity, the more privacy. Big scale is friend of Teleport, but I am not so sure ringsig will scale too well.

So, I am all for teleporting other currencies, but no need to put ringsig into BTCD when it has something better.

But, I don't understand the talk of people already up over 10x,etc.....Chart says low was ~100k

EDIT: I just added MORE at ~295k. This coin looks very strong to me & an excellent long-term investment.

The chart has a limited timespan. When BTCD hit Bittrex it was going for ~14k, hit 6k at one point.
