Hey guys, a question which might have been already answered but I can't go through 150 pages just to look for it.

The only way to mine this coin is on a multipool??

What would 750GH/s get you on avarage per 24 hours in sha256
what would 5GH/s x11 get?
and 9MH/s scrypt?

Thanks guys.

Can't stand reading people saying they're going to "dump" coins. People are just in this for making btc, go ride some other coin. Btcd is here to stay and be used, value is great but if you're just going to rape and pillage a legitimate alt coin then in my opinion, gtfo. We have a dev who is working his butt off for the greater good, not to make you a quick btc. Do a little leg work yourself or shut your trap because you're not contributing to the incredible dialogue being shared by James. Just frustrated to see people sell out and drop the price when you can clearly set your sells where you're happy with and then wait. People acting like a bunch of 8 year olds.

Yep Im in for the long game Smiley

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Me three!! HODL!!!  Cool

I think they are mining most profitable coins per algorithm and e.g it seems to be bitcoin for sha atm (coinwarz). So with 1th you would earn 0.025 btc which is about 5 btcd. You can easily calculate it by using coinwarz or similar sites.

I don't have first hand experience about this, but some say it's more profitable to mine personally and converting profits to btcd (due multipool fees etc.)

- Run %Appdata%

- Go to Folder: AppData -> Roaming -> BitcoinDark

- create new text file and rename it BitcoinDark.conf (make sure you have "file name extensions" checked under the "view" tab)

Copy and paste the following into your BitcoinDark.conf file and save it:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=14632
port=14631
daemon=1
gen=1
server=1
addnode=107.170.59.196

- Restart Wallet and see if it syncs

- If wallet still isn't syncing, try disabling your firewall and restarting wallet

I'm just using the Windows BitcoinDark-qt. I could really do with more information about stuff like backing up/restoring wallets, using keys, etc. Is that information in this long thread or elsewhere - I haven't been able to find it.

Getting "Trust Verified" should be a good thing for our coin, no?

(I don't know how to do this)

I don't trust "third party authority", it just doesn't prove anything if the actual coin should succeed.. I rather trust track records and transparency which both are superior in this coin.

All the features that james has done for Nxt and the rumbling about the new code for btcd has earned my trust. Also he had to invest in this coin like everyone else so there is a good incentive to continue developing. Smiley

Other devs have created coin after coin with little to no utility for the purposes of getting practice at coding, feeding their greed or sheer ignorance of the futility of their efforts. Somehow you immediately stand out as different. Your mind seems to naturally assemble the very best elements from this community and to craft novel ones to fill the gaps to create a product with a single stroke that addresses the nearly each and every need in the crypto community.
Every type from devs, traders, investors, outlaws, philosophers, anarchists, and those that just want privacy and security when it comes to their transacting with the world need exactly what you've brought to the table. And the bit that amazes me most is that you seem to be able to address every angle each type brings to the discussion at their own level! Keep that mind of yours polished and ready to be admired by the likes of myself and others, James. I'm quite sure it'll eventually be the world over that profits from the fruits of your efforts.
