Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

More Noob questions:

My Staking on my wallet was reset yesterday. Is this because I transferred a few BTCD to Cryptsy?
But my wallet now has much more BTCD than when I started yesterday morning as I ended up buying more.
So I  take it the stake resets when I transfer/sell some BTCD

and:
I have a payment from 'mining' I only ever tried mining for about one hour but didnt like my CPU hitting 100%
constantly and stopped. Didn't  think I would see any income from such a short time of mining. Perhaps that mining
income is the staking? It was a very very small payment.

Can someone tell me why there were lots of miniscule sell offers on Cryptsy for BTCD yesterday. (I notice not so much today)

I understand some want to get rid of remnanats, but I dont think that was the case for them all. I felt
it was intentional, but I don't really know the reason why. I find those micro amounts realy annoying Smiley

I got so annoyed with them at at times I started buying them up  Kiss But I couldn't keep that going indefinitely
of course..

They are most likely bots who constantly monitor the prices and buy/sell tiny amounts to drive the price up or down.

BTCD official multipool is having the best day, even thou price for BTCD is high our members grow and we take good amounts from BTCD off exchange daily, i am trully sorry that the http://bitcoindark.net/multipool page is so slow but that is becouse of the growing amount of miners ans some flaws in code that are currently being fixed, so we are sorry for the inconvenince but we had to remove the overall speed stats to make it faster at least for now, however we are currentlly working on improving the whole page and we hope we can put online fully redisigned site with multipool stats showed in the next 24 hours. Next on the site is a dedicated forum since the pool clearly stated that most members want one, but it wont stop there, we have also plans for more improvements and more features added. Thank you for all the support and for all the donations that were received so far, you know they all go in improving this coin and making it the best, so everyone keep up the goood work.

Thank You!

I voted one year for free teleport, I think 3 months is too short a time frame to get adoption and network effect. A year in my opinion is good enough to establish the use of btcd as a gateway and get enough traffic. We should think long term, this makes more sense to me Smiley

I think we would like to try and minimize the scam coins taking advantage of the BTCD network at our expense... yeah? I voted 3 months and think that was already generous...

James and team -- Very impressive. And thank you for all your hard work & community spirit. Read black paper and all threads. Bought a nice starting stack of BTCD just as we were lifting off a few days ago. I'm a long-term holder. Can you point me to the most challenging (=negative) analysis - written by credible devs/investors - to your approach and tech? What are the big concerns/limitations etc?
