BTCD is no more

I have no active firewall. I tried deleting peers.dat. Ive also tried the BitcoinDark.conf from the OP aswell as copying only the addnode values from the OP to my BitcoinDark.conf. Still 0 active connections. ive never had something like this before. All other wallets are running fine  Huh

Yes, for over a year now. Still no problems. All my wallets are encrypted with strong passwords and my accounts with 2FA.

Don't matter if you have a rootkit installed on your computer they can just change your DNS calls. And you will lose your coins with a middleman attack.

Meh I just want to know how to get my wallet connected actually. Thanks for the warning though.

Make sure your firewall isn't being a problem. I've posted these before:

Downloaded the BitcoinDark Wallet from the official site. I installed it but blockchain is not going to be downloaded. The right bottom connection indicator says "0 active connections to BitcoinDark network". What's going on? Do I need to do further steps to get it run?

Really bad distribution. 500 people control almost all coins. If only one of the top 100 sells it coins, the price will drop.

There's no syncing problem in BTCD wallets

I'm a BTCD hodler and I'm in BTCD since the launch . I kept my coins in 5 wallets and I had no problem with the wallets syncing from the beginning until today.
I'm on Windows7 and I used BitcoinDark.conf from OP . my wallets connecting under 10 seconds and syncing very fast and always number of my connections is 16.

People who have problem with syncing may be there's an error in their wallets installation or their operating system is in trouble.

Most likely router firewall or windows firewall. I have 63 connections and never had an issue.

Btcd stakers will get 5% of the SuperNet revenue stream in relation to their staking

The latest shift for the BitcoinDark multipool paid out over 31 BTCD to miners on all three algos!

We need to have some more mining support over here at this pool. It's slowly picking up a little though. Prices are starting to climb so this is a good reason to point more hash at the pool. These prices won't last for much longer as BTCD and SuperNET are nearing their v1 release.

FYI, since it is the holidays this week and next, shifts will be paid out as I have time to validate them. Everything will still be running and exchanging as normal. Don't be alarmed if a shift isn't paid on it's normal schedule.

The fixed schedule will return to normal Jan 5th.

how many total BTCD wallets are there that hold more than 50 BTCD? i would guess not much more than 500. of course distribution looks awful with this in mind. you only need ~84 BTCD to make it on top 500, which is barely more than 120$USD or ~0.36 BTC

i would guess that whales are accumulating BTCD in anticipation of incoming tech. if teleport/telepathy comes through...well, I suspect ATH will be surpassed in short order
