Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Is there anyone else who can donate 0.05 ? two more donations like this would be idea. plus my 0.05 = 0.2 and we can get this done!
Sure...what's the addy? Hi Adhitthana, Cohnhead paid 0.05btc if you could match that, that would be great, i paid the remaining balance of 0.13. Please send 0.05 (or what you can afford) to: 1HKCTzQPEFL3NXEKVcZ2Lv5kdNS5Uae5fo Done You should receive it soon. Thank You Adhitthana, 0.05btc received, many thanks for this. That makes a total of 0.1BTC received plus maybe anther 0.05btc (but as no one has messaged, i cant confirm this, it might be from something else). So THANK YOU to all. Now all we have to do is make sure we spread the word of I/O Coin and I/O Digital.KEYWORDS: (i use when describing IOC) SOLID solid Dev Team DEDICATION - Showing the uptmost dedication, what with creation of Foundation and creating Patents. (you wont see any other crypto doing this) TRUST - I/O Coin has real world business people behind it, people you can contact any time, going on for 2 years in developments now. INNOVATIVE - New HTML5 wallet , first in crypto, plus many more unique developments to come. SECURE - one thing IOC does well, Security, they have a Top Developer who specialists in Crypto Secure, your investment is in SAFE hands. REAL WORLD ADOPTION - Main focus to become well known and adopted/used worldwide in this new world of Blockchain Technology.

What are the next steps on the road map?
Please see and Bookmark > http://www.iodigital.io/roadmap/So HTML5 Wallet with Intergrated DIONS and encrypted Chat and some other features, it is several Roadmap releases in one. So, that ticks off, steps 1,2 and 3. 4 = Chameloen super chain , which i can see being released about the same time as above, so should not be too far away now. 4.b = DIOEX Decentralized exchange. This would be the next big thin the IOC team are working on. DIOEX is really HUGE. Many other alts are working on similar, it helps the whole eco system of the coin, really ties everything together, like the oil for the machine. Once all of the above is done, the IOC team deserve a very well earned holiday for a couple of weeks!. But as we know the IOC team do not stop! So after all the above is released, there will be a new roadmap, i really look forward to the next roadmap, as i can see if stating about "expanding" "partnerships" "breakdown of investments - how they will be spent" "all the conferences they will attend" and such like.

Development update July 8th 2016
As some of you know I/O Coin is almost two years old. Two years. 15th of July. We started as a normal coin without any ICO or premine. Since then we have delivered a lot of fantastic projects like a one of a kind HTML 5 wallet, Android wallet and several extra services like the giftcard website and special community HUB. All built from the ground up. Soon after that we have foreseen a bright future for "Blockchain Technology" and focussed on that full time before anybody else did. We released the DIONS white paper in oct 2014.
With developing a Blockchain project we have seen many, many hurdles. Bugs, devs not being able to do their job because it was too complicated and so on. Creating something that has not been done before makes it a tough job. For the whole team. Many other projects tried and failed. They abandoned the project and left investors with a project that is just an empty shell. To be able to cope with these kind of projects, especially when the team pays for all the developments themselves, is not for the faint hearted. This requires dedication and perseverance.
The main team (Joel, Sam, Derek and myself) has been with the project since start. With all those setbacks we did not get discouraged and still are a very solid and great team. On a daily basis we work on the project and update each other on the progress within our defined tasks. We fulfill our tasks with pride and are very aware that our technology could change a lot of lives in the future. Not just for investors, but also for businesses and consumers that will use the technology. We have the responsibility to deliver a secure, fast and reliable network.
We were the first in the altcoin scene to think further then just launching a crypto coin. Other initiatives have seen our roadmap, seen our ideas and started ICO's to pay for "their" ideas. Did they deliver yet? No. And if they did you have seen that at launch there were no wallets, forks and dumps. A lot of talks, less delivery.
DIONS took a lot of time. We wanted to deliver secure code. Not just release it because the community wants the price of IOC to go up. No, we don't care for the price. We care for the technology and understand our responsibilities. The entire I/O Digital ecosystem relies on this code and therefore we take all the time we need for DIONS with off-course all those hurdles ahead.
Talking about DIONS. Everybody is waiting for good news
Well, we have good news. We have it working in testnet!!
The last few weeks we had a lot of bugs in the code but killed them one by one. It took Derek a few weeks to sort this out. The RSA key generation and RSA key listing by I/O Coin address is tested and working on testnet. We are now completing the messaging part and revamp the HTML5 wallet so even my grandmother could use the wallet.
We still cannot say anything about a delivery date, but we can say "we are close to Beta". In the Beta we probably see some issues again, but things look great at this point and we wanted you guys to know.
A big thank you for all your support and help in this.
Thanks for the donation! Another big thank to "HQ S - in Slack" for the first Foundation donation we got. 777 I/O Coins. wow!! Really appreciated.
If you want to donate to the project, we can accept I/O Coin at address: ioXeFZbd9FtiW5Ck8TAaaNzWe5o4qMu5DT or BTC address: 1GSXmUffjYgZtGTWcnjey4doGaZQEq8C1S
The foundation is still waiting for registry approval, but we delivered all the paperwork and payed for the registrations. Its up to the lawyers now which probably takes a few more weeks.
Regards,
Richard - on behalf of the Development team

Thank You IOC Team.Amazing update. Lots of fantastic news. Mostly excited about DIONS release and the new wallet "even my grandmother could use" Really great to hear things are close to Beta now, you guys have battled hard against all odds to bring this project together and as you mention, without any ICO funds, all from your own pocket. There is no other alt made and alive today that has the same dedication as the IOC team and that is clear to see. Hard work deserves to be rewarded and i am sure the Blockchain technology is going to have a fantastic impact to all who use it. Once everything is released, i think there will be many thankful and grateful people and i am sure you guys will see a flood of "thanks" in the form of donations, once all is ready and complete. Keep up the great work! PS: Anything planned for the 2 Years? Would be good to have some kind of "Celebration" maybe do a google hangout and talk over what has been done in the 2 years? Maybe get on one of the popular bitcoin shows?

Hey OP - are there any IOC bounties currently available? If so, PM me the details and I'll post it on my site and send out a couple of Twitter blasts.
Here is the info I need:
1. Altcoin name and ticker symbol 2. Details of your bounty offers (what folks need to do, how much they'll get, etc...) 3. Wallet download links 4. An image of your coin or similar to go with the post (500 x 500 is a good size) 5. How long the bounty is good for (in other words, when will the bounty offer close?)
Cheers!
Cynthia

Hi Verb, Yes thank you. If you look at comment you will see Richard here replied, as they were harsh on Joel, the Lead Dev here. Look at IOC on the charts too, look at Richards post here #3297. IOC will be 100k sats this time next year. PS: Would love to see you with one of the IOC signatures. the code is on the previous page. DM me if you need any extra help.

We will see New ATH's and i should think, 30k should be the new floor. Impossible to tell, one big company on board like the Dutch Central Bank, (Richard lives in Holland, maybe he can make things happen!) see here > http://www.coindesk.com/dutch-central-bank-preparing-boldest-blockchain-experiment-yet/Could make things really rocket.
