The IOC team has been somewhat quiet the last few days  , we are currently working on key-feature developments that will be slowly released after we have transitioned smoothly into the POS only phase.

We haven't only settled with getting a functional coin out but, we are also trying to give a helpful hand in Charitable causes and will continue to in the future. Heres a few things that have happen while the development team went full force coding and everyone was busy mining and trading.

$10000 Donation

The sum was donated to the rape and torture victim Mairelis Gonzalez and other victims for various expenses. Mairelis is one of the  women that is part of a group of 34 Cubans arrested after arriving in Nassau the coast of Bahamas. Lorenzo Palomares is the  Constitutional lawyer and a trial lawyer that represents the victims in the Bahama case .

Jesus Alexis Gomez shown above is a Cuban activist that fights for human rights . He is well-known for his 24 day hunger strike for the 19 undocumented immigrants from Cuba, who were detained in the Bahamas. Gomez was the person that managed to enter the detention center with his smartphone and made videos of the official mistreating of the Cuban migrants that was later published online.

The IO Community has also donated $200 for Diego Jaens surgery. Diego suffers from neurofibromatosis, a severe tumor on his face, which grew by 120 percent after his last surgery in 2011, where doctors were able to extract 70 percent of the tumor mass. Today Diego's first surgery has been a success, as his Doctor mentions. He is currently in intesive care to recoup before his 2nd operation.

I think it is cool and would just like to know that these are real donations and not just fake/clever PR.

The check was made for the support of Mairelis Gonzalez's. The funds are being made from business account from Joel Bosh on behalf of the IO Coin Community. Mr Gomes is handling all funds on behalf of the victims.  Mr Gomez appeared in Multiple Spanish tv Stations today talking about the matter. All donations will cover cost of flights for the victim to panama and a receiving group also cost associated with the other cuban victims.

Diego's donation was made last night at a public event. I followed up with his father today and the first operation went well.  He has a 2nd operation to go. We are making efforts to see Diego on Saturday at the Miami Children's Hospital.

It is time to show the world that digital currencies can help in lending a hand in different causes :-)

This is not accurate info, it has been discussed read the threads. First hashes were on hasharder go look at the beginning blocks. Blocks have been the same all along and mining still going on till tomorrow = FAIR. Code was looked at by Cryptsy and then added to bittrex. Anyone can buy at the exchanges now

Wow! Its great to see any kind of real world action from a coin, and especially great to see a charitable one like this from a coin that's been hot since launching just a few days ago. Keep up the good work guys, seriously.
