Simply looking at the incredibly high network hashrate of 400+ GHash is enough for me to know some people think it should be as high as coins like Gamecredits. I've used it as an expexted value indicater before and it has led me to making a lot of profit.
thats a good target zone, there are literally at least 100 alts with worse fundamentals but higher market cap than via :p you have to laugh at people still selling the bottom I bought GAME at the 1000 sat level and people were still dumping. Currently it is above 18k and even went as high as 30k, so I will hold. Looking forward to the Segwit integration

I believe 10k to 15k sats is a good price target for VIA.

Viacoin can be reviving again, but it needs time, let the dev work.

in the light of a recent cloudflare security fuckup ("bug") (which affects passwords, api keys AND 2fa)
just a reminder, exchange is NOT a wallet if you dont hold the private keys, you dont own the coins, period
its mind boggling that 30% of all viacoins is still stored on an exchange, dont people remember hacks on gox, mintpal, craptsy, bitfinex, bitstamp, poloniex, etc?

Good post, have to say only 100% agree with you. Best way is keep most coins in wallets and keep on exhcanges only small ammount of coins for trade. None exchange is bullet-proof and hackers are smart to get profit this way.

Any update from Dev please about progress here. For merged mining there were some problems with serialization. We are gonna try to bring up clean nodes with 0.13.2 instead of downloading from the existing nodes. There's a good chance that may be the solution! If it is, merged mining is done. Then I need to prepare for SegWit. Pick a date to singal, double check code, build the binaries & release the new Viacoin version. Let all pools, exchanges, users etc update.

SegWit is good, but many people hate it because of low transaction fees, maybe it will only be an experiment, and won't be implemented into bitcoin network. Which is a sad thing. Viacoin is the future.

Why are you against unlimited? Bitcoin unlimited is a hard fork. Users, miners, merchands etc have never deplpyed a hard fork. The techniques to test them safely have never been tested. Hardforks require all full nodes to upgrade or everyone who uses that node loses money. Also what lately happened. bitcoin.com missed 13.2BTC block reward by trying to fork the network. Buggy, untested Bitcoin Unlimited created an oversized block. Participating BU nodes got temporarily auto-banned. https://btcmanager.com/why-roger-vers-mining-pool-lost-12-5-btc-because-of-a-bug-in-bitcoin-unlimited/

Viacoin is the future. Mind telling how lower transaction fee could be a drawback? The lower the fee the more transacting parties are on the network, and that certainly benefits the adoption and integrity of a shitcoin, there are other benefits of having segwit on such as much more hype and armpit-shaped pumps on poloniex.
