I may have a solution for those people unable to start Qt in Windows 7 or 8. Download and install the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and if that doesn't work try installing the 2008 Redistributable Package. If none of the previous suggestions work then also try installing the .NET Framework 4 if you don't already have it installed. Let me know if any of these steps help.

EDIT: you may need to delete the old data folder if you already tried to start cryptonite and it crashed.

EDIT: and some more peers for anyone having trouble connecting to the network:

It won't sync... I have deleted the data 4 or five times, hoping it would get past whatever it is doing. And I have tried it on my laptop as well...

I think Bter was the largest XCN exchange, but with the recent NXT hack people are probably hesitant to use Bter.

it merely says that miners dont intend to sell at such low prices and buyers are waiting. It went down to 3.5 volume before the last run too. If it goes down on high volume, then you can start worrying.

The reason there is low volume relative to other cryptocurrencies is because the market cap is only ~100 BTC right now. The volume has been extremely high viewed as a percentage of market cap. The reason the market cap is so low atm is because of the slow distribution of XCN. And the reason the volume has been low compared to before is probably because of Bter's security issues, and because there isn't a significant amount of EC2 GPU miners anymore, so they aren't dumping.

Got my stock 750Ti cards up to 4750 - 4850kh/s, with AWS around 4200 - 4300kh/s (AWS pool screenshot shows CPU + GPU):

https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/xcnwolf750ti4.png
https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/xcnk5205.png

After these were taken, I flashed my 750Ti cards to 75W power limit and 1300/3000 - but hashrates don't seem to have improved, even though checking GPU-Z in Windows shows that it has taken effect.

Never mind, H/s on XMR is far higher.

Which 750Ti model are you using?

good result, without the flashing you was able to reach that oc? because i thin that 750ti are all power limited in the bios
