All I know is this is definitely the calm before the storm and I can tell it's gonna be a huge storm when it finally comes Can't wait!!!

SPR is the second DRK in 2014  

Here are my initial thoughts on just this point.

AlexGR has made some great points on what Mr Spread could do to improve on DRK code to give SPR some competitive advantage over DRK:  fixing the compromises and temporary solutions DRK deployed to keep things moving forward until long-term solutions were found or implemented.

If SPR is to be built on DRK code, then SPR is working for DRK. Any improvements can be ported to DRK.

DRK has the first mover advantage and a strong community. SPR doesn't have a chance with a simple strategy, no matter how much effort goes into the work, of simply fixing things that need to be fixed in DRK.

A wider strategy needs to be developed.

Until USPs beyond non-pooled mining can be articulated, SPR doesn't have much of a chance of ever surpassing DRK.

I'm open to changing my views on this, but right now I can't justify the electricity cost of mining SPR or buying too many coins.

I hear what you are saying and that's absolutely true about Dark and their supporters but Mr. Spread is highly qualified to put into action a strong movement as the community grows and "SPREADS" we will then only truly see the potential that is SpreadCoin I still think that this coin is well worth buying right now if a trader can be patient enough to hold their coins for at least a couple months for sure Cheers

On another note: The technical aspect is ofcourse the most important, but maybe some Marketing, give aways, Apps etc. are also a good thing to think about.

Also, following several requests, I'm working on making mining much easier. You will not need to edit configuration file, you will just need to launch miner on the same machine as wallet. Of course any existing miner configuration will continue to work with newer wallet versions, this is only for those who don't want to deal with such stuff.

I think IX is indeed a bigger market than Darksend.

I don't want to bring baggage, but having seen the day to day problems first hand that plague the internal workings of the payments industry, IX is a great feature but its not the thing that is stopping crypto becoming the answer.

Not even worried about it Mr. Spread You know what you are doing and you obviously have a great plan for this coin so I'm happy you touched base with the community and what you have been up to and totally look forward to seeing what comes out next my friend Cheers

How do you plan to handle the intensity and other single/multi gpu configs and settings ?

I have some tips if you're willing to include a Win7 mining tweaks/ guide. eg. How to's on, disabling media player/ internet browser hardware acceleration, driver updates, ect.

The best way to achive a high level of decentralization would be to win over the single gpu/cpu users/newbies by making their involvement as seamless and as hassle free as possible. If successful, the swarm will leave the privkey whales with little to no WUs to feed on.
