Why is the coin traded on only one exchange? This is normal?
Hi Andrey, Because we are planning and working on a coin swap in the future, we have not actively pursued addition onto more exchanges. At this time, it is not in our best interest to do so. Having more exchanges during the swap will only muck things up during that time. No, it is not normal and certainly will not be the case after we move into a more modern code base, hence the swap. While we are not intentionally on only one exchange at this time, it does work to our favor that we are. Thanks for your interest and questions. More exchanges will be pursued at the appropriate time.

Yes, correct. Sterlingcoin and the Sterlingcoin community would like to implement features that were not yet matured back in 2014 when Sterlingcoin launched, such as masternodes. To achieve this we are cloning a more modern codebase, rebranding it and reconfiguring it, and will be launching a new blockchain. Then holders of the original Sterlingcoin (the Sterlingcoin that exists now) will be able to swap their original Sterlingcoin for the new and improved Sterlingcoin. Both blockchains will be supported throughout this swap period but, in time the original Sterlingcoin will no longer be supported.

Please be advised, a fork of the network is being investigated. Please do not move coins until this is corrected. It is actively being worked on. At this time, https://chainz.cryptoid.info/slg/ does concur with seednodes. http://transactions.sterlingcoin.org is being re-synced. Please disregard its information. Sorry for the inconvenience. It is being corrected as fast as possible.

Hi, Haven't heard about that swap before I'm guessing the objective of the coin will remain the same since that was the reason to buy it in the first place rw

As that may have also been a reason to buy. Yes, it will be carried out with complete respect to long-standing holders.

Hi again Sterlingcoiners, As a maintenance release and in preparation for the forthcoming swapping of coins, a new Sterlingcoin version 1.6. 1 is being prepared for release. The source code has been fully tested and pushed to our repo, https://github.com/Sterlingcoin/Sterlingcoin-1.6.1.1-Release/ The "maintenance" is new checkpoints, copyright year updates, and minor aesthetics. The "preparation" is zapwallettxes, which is the capacity to remove unconfirmed transactions from one's wallet. These residual unconfirmed transactions could, and most likely would, cause confusion and frustration during the swap. Users wondering why they cannot swap their reported total will cause confusion. This is the proper resolution, as apposed to just removing unconfirmed transactions from the equation which could be detrimental for true unconfirmed transactions. This will ease the swapping process both in respect to end-users' confusion and frustration, supporting them, and time that may be spent with both. Admittedly it is an enhancement that is overdue, regardless of the swap. Seednodes have been upgraded as of today. Linux users and those able to compile their own wallet can do so at their convenience. It is not a required upgrade, but is strongly advised. Windows and Mac binaries will be compiled and released this week and as soon as possible. This does not indicate we are ready to start swapping. We are not. The new code that the new blockchain will be built on, for which people will swap into, is still only at the cusp of development. It is a current and up-to-date fork, a fork of a fork rather, of PIVX. Much research and experimenting was spent to even get to that point. I assure you, much more will be needed. No ETA of the swap at this time. Version 1.6.1 is only a step in preparation. Thank you for the continued support and have a great week, Sterlingcoiners!

Sterlingcoiners, because of some unanticipated traveling necessities yesterday, v1.6.1 binaries cannot be prepared until next week. Sorry for the announcement saying it would be this week. Apologies for the unexpected delay.

Im wondering that All 3 team members still alive? Or maybe only one of them still posting here?
All 3 are still alive, yes. However; only one is active on Sterlingcoin, I regret to inform you. That has been the case for years. Only one has been posting here, yes. That also has been the case for years. While Matthew and Spencer have moved on, I, Steven, refuse to abandon the project. I do strongly believe in Sterlingcoin's future and place in the unfolding cryptocurrency industry and horizon. While it is not possible for me to output the same man-hours as a team of 3, I do my best on-top of all my many other obligations. Obligations in my personal and professional life sometimes must be higher priority, which has been the case much of the start of 2018. So yes, community members' contributions and help are always very greatly appreciated. On that note, thanks to Wizzkidy for helping to maintain the Telegram! Sterlingcoin Wait, am I understanding this correctly – you're the only one left? Is there anything we, Sterlingcoin supporters, can do to help you out? Maybe there are some easier tasks that you can outsource to the community members?

You're understanding correctly, yes. Sterlingcoin supporters can run their node and stake their Sterlingcoin as often as possible to help the network. That would be greatly appreciated. Also any article writing, social media interactions, and community involvement would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you for your support and willingness to contribute.

Version 1.6.0.1 is the current release. Version 1.6.1.1 is slated to be released this coming week. If your wallet appears to be stuck on a block for a long time, half an hour or more, perhaps give it a restart. Of course, make sure you have peers. If the block hash of your highest block does not match the block hash of an explorer, you are in a fork. To make this comparison, note your highest block number, click 'explorer' in the wallet, input that number and click the 'jump to block' button. Then go to an explorer on the web ( http://transactions.sterlingcoin.org or https://chainz.cryptoid.info/slg/ ) and input that same block number and click search. The block hash should be identical on both. If not, you're in a fork. In the event you find you have forked (block hashes do not match), you will need to resync. New and more recent snapshots were recently updated on http://sterlingcoin.org (under the 'download' navigation menu). You would need to delete everything BESIDES your wallet.dat file within %Appdata%\sterlingcoin to remove the old blockchain. Replace with the contents of the snapshot archive or allow to sync over the network from scratch. Again, use caution to not delete your wallet.dat file. I hope this information is helpful. If you need further elaboration or help, please feel free to ask.
