This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Friday, October 7th 2016 unless the average
daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.3 BTC. If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at support@bittrex.com.

Things got much tougher. That's 4.2 BTC of volume until Friday. What's the count for the past ten days? Only 4 days left.
I hope progress is being made so we get past this constant worry of the coin being de-listed.

Agreed, much tougher, but what is alarming is the timing that the change took place. When Bill warned that the criteria would be changing, I had no idea the change was just days away. This of course thwarts the plan for the rebase to spur demand and thus prevent delisting.

Of course, I will further argue the case with Bittrex staff in attempt to prevent such a negative blow to Sterlingcoin.

Its not much to keep it on Bitrex anyway. Trading 4.2 BTC volume of SLG would give them 1050000 satoshis in fees. That is  $6.4 under 14 days trading. My head is tired but I think the math is done right.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This is from Bittrex FAQ. Read it!!!!     One big single order on friday will not do.

We add warnings to markets on the weekend and remove them on Fridays.  Saving a coin requires bringing the average daily volume back up before the next scheduled removal date.  We require 0.2 BTC (or equivalent) of average daily volume over a 7 day period.  We vary the time on Friday in which we check for volume to prevent coin developers from placing a single large order to save their coin.  The best way to keep a market from being in danger is to continue to develop steady trading volume each day.

Furthermore, markets that consistency dip below the minimum volume requirement may get the minimum volume requirement increased or delisted without notice.  Markets with 0 daily volume may also be flagged for delisting without notice.

If a market is removed, you will have 14 days to remove your coins from our wallets.

Now it's 0.3btc volume average for 14days. Meaning we need volume asap
no selftrades allowed.
posibility of being delisted if they catch you making self trade.

Now it's time to make selftrades cos there is no time to make real volume.

I propose to make little trades, so bittrex doesnt realize is selftrading

Your hope is that it will be bad for their new ICO coin if SLG gets delisted from Bitrex so devs would put some effort to keep it on this exchange. Otherwise it probably will sink fast. Too good coin to be wasted like that.

Yes, as stated, we will. We will also remind Bittrex's staff of the other projects we are involved in that are bringing them much, the highest some days, volume.

Thank you for making volume.

Hi,

Any ETA for start working on SLG?

I, Steven, am now again emailing Bittrex support and making a very strong, yet polite, argument for not delisting Sterlingcoin. Based on previous conversations, the closer we can get to the minimum volume requirement, the better. I sincerely thank those of you that are bringing some volume. If you are in a position that you can bring more and bring us closer to or surpassing the minimum, I can't thank you enough for doing so. That said, if we do not meet the minimum, we are at their mercy for more grace time on their exchange. But, no. No update from Bittrex staff as of yet. I will of course report any communication I receive in return.

As some of you know and I have expressed, both Matthew and Spencer are deeply entrenched in Silk Network, perhaps deeper or more consuming than they had hoped at this point in time. Please do understand we are 3 individuals trying to make a living or at least justify the countless, literally countless, hours we devote among many other personal sacrifices. I too have obligations (EverGreenCoin, granite CWI, some less popular others) but have put those projects as low priority so I can focus on Sterlingcoin. Because of the maturity of those projects, I can. A luxury Silk Network and my colleagues can yet afford. I have started working on the code and looking at, and I have found, the reason the wallet inaccurately reports unconfirmed balance and thus total balance (but does not effect spendable). The solution to that issue will be in the rebase. So yes, the ETA was September 21st.

At this time, I am working on the more pressing issue of moving the website (including the faucet and paper wallet sub domains) to Sterlingcoin.org as the expiration of the Sterlingcoin.guru domain, a domain I was forced to use temporarily because of financial constraints, is just days away. That did work out to be a blessing of sorts because the Sterlingcoin.org domain, previously held for auction of many thousands of dollars, became available in that time. On a progressive note, I do plan and am bringing back an official block explorer under the Sterlingcoin.org domain as well, to restore that service. I have secured the moneys for the VPS for that as well as the DNS seednodes to be built into the new rebased wallet. So if you are hesitating to bring volume thinking that the devs are not moving and funding Sterlingcoin forward, I offer that as proof, yes we are. We have come too far and the possibilities too great to not.

Even in the worst case of delisting from Bittrex, Sterlingcoin is going forward. But I will not suggest that it would not be a tremendous impairment. Regaining listing on Bittrex once lost is unheard of, to the best of my knowledge. Again and from the entire Sterlingcoin dev team, many thanks to any help via volume in the final hours as we try to avoid this detriment to Sterlingcoin.

Just added 0.8btc to the volume

Thing is not much has been done for the coin in the past 2 years. Some goals were set in the beginning that never materialized.
Did you reach out to Matthew and Spencer to discuss about the future of the coin?
Is there any consideration of adding SLG to the Silk Network/Weaver at some point when it's mature, that would help a lot.
Hopping to see some significant progress soon.

I asked before for some developement and it was because I could see this coming. Poloniex and C-cex would already had delisted SLG. Bittrex is not an bad exchange they just dont want to be an online wallet. Slg have already been saved several times. I have supported it and traded some so it would not get delisted. But now Bittrex have put its foot down and telling that they dont want coins that are sleeping.
Even now there is no road map for some development. There should be something that tells that there is going to be somthing good that will happend to SLG. Not just broken promises.

If SLG gets delisted then its the end for this coin. Cryptopia and Bleutrade dont have any volumes. Bleutrade has very insecure coding. Cryptopia have been telling everybody that they will not delist coins and they will not list scamcoins. Well they have listed some of the worlds worst scamcoins and they are pumping DOT. So nothing are written in stone there.

The future of this coin is not good if it gets delisted from Bittrex. I think most of us can see this and there should be alleast an updated roadmap. Would be good to see some dates

I just had some words with Spencer about the possible integration of Sterlingcoin into Weaver. He said, "Not into Weaver. But a platform like weaver or the old sterlingcoinapi could be relunched using the same platform."

Matthew had previously mentioned it months ago to me as Sterlingcoin in Weaver. Sorry if I caused confusion by relaying it. Its own and separate platform does make more sense for Sterlingcoin.

Thank you for investing in Sterlingcoin and bringing volume to help subvert the delisting.

Yes, our ambitions for Sterlingcoin and lack of budget to carry those ambitions to fruition has caused us to miss marks in the past. We did never intend to break promises.

We will look into a new roadmap and do so with realistic expectations based on present situations. We will discuss this tonight/today.
