Faucet is up!

In high need of donations, I don't have much to give Sad

Gives out 2 BURST. If anyone knows how to reduce fee, then I'll probably lower the payout

could someone give me a tip ,

my friend offerd me his HDD Seagate Barracuda 2TB Sata 3 6GB/s model ST2000DL003-9VT166 2 years old for 50€

do you guys think that is a decent deal so I could start mining Burst

what would you guys do ?

a bit overpriced, 3tb new barracuda cost 90 euro, this mean he is selling to you a 75 euro 3TB 5/6 of the original price, after two year is a bit too much imho

it`s a 2TB HDD for 50€ , I might convince him to drop it to 45€

but there is also new HDD-s at my local shop for 80€ WD green 2TB and 130€ for a WD green 3TB , both of them with 3 years warranty ,
this are the prices if I pay with credit card if I pay it in cash it 10% off

so I see price is droping on c-cex and more and more coins are generated daily and difficulty is increasing rapidly ,

but if I buy a new HDD and it didn`t pay out I really have no use of it in the future, I will sleep on it and see how things are tomorrow .

buy it on amazon, the 3TB barracuda is at 90 euro

I did buy once on amazon a graphic card (got it after 10 days) and it was pain in the ass to return it after it broke in less than 6 weeks ,

it took 5 weeks to get a new one and I had to pay the shipping cost , so I rather stick to local shops ,I know the price is higher than on amazon but at least I don`t have to bother with it if something happens

never had any problem with them, i recently returned one 750ti, and they shipped me a new one, the same day of my email for the rma

unbelievable support

Someone please look at this code and tell me if I did something wrong. I've been running for ~20 hours and haven't had any type of payout or even a notification in my wallet letting me know I'm doing it right.

Code:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate acctnumberhere 0 108000000 0 4

Running 2.7 TB completely empty drive. Wanting to maximize the space as much as possible. Thank you for all the help all of you have provided the past day or so, I really do a appreciate you guys helping a complete mining noob like myself.

BTW my specs are:

I7 3770k (gen2 I think)

16 gb ram

GTX 690 if that matters

and the empty 2.7TB that I'm mining on.

Do:
Code:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate acctnumberhere 0 11004000 1000 4

Ideally you would use the other windows plotter since it is much faster.  Then you could do staggers of 6000 instead of 1000.

Nope, it's 144 in the best case. 24 * 3 * 2

Can probably earn more with captcha coin or something

That's $0.285 per day at current rates

looks like i still can't get that poolmining to work. somehow it must have worked at some point, because I got around 430 coins about 12h ago. the first share does get submitted correctly, but then:

Code:
New best: 2356708139007897533:114613
Error: Unable to get mining info from wallet :http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80/burst?requestType=getMiningInfo
Submitting share
Error: Failed to submit nonce

I already tried:

http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io
http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80
http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:8124

when I stop the miner, and restart it, it seems that the first share gets submitted, and all following shares show the error. I really don't know what else to do...

ok, I tried a few times more, and the first share always gets submitted successfully, and all following shares give the "Failed to submit nonce" error :/

Should be much longer imho, in this phase it should primarily be for miners needing coins to start mining.

Definitely the V2 pools still need some optimizations. Just like all mining, solo or pool, things eventually equalize in amount of coins you will mine. Honestly, it feels good when you get a whole block to yourself...lol... Cool

I forgot how to do revert back to solo mining, it was mention in the thread. The dev needs to post that on the OP.
