A little update on the overlap-tool:

It now shows which of your plots found which blocks. Just check "Get additional information from server"

https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap

no blocks for me

Is there any wiki/repository on plot speed vs cpu?

Not that I know of. Here's some basic performance metrics on Centos 6.5 with dcct's linux plotgen:
i5-2400: 3400 nonces/min
E5-2560v2: 7000 nonces/min
E5-2670v2: 7100 nonces/min
2xE5-2560v2: 13900 nonces/min
i7-3770k: 4300 nonces/min
FX-8350 @ 4.2GHz: 3500 nonces/min

Looking for miners (ASIC ones especially!)
http://burstmultipool.com!
scrypt: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:3333
sha: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:5555
x11: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:4444
Keccak: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:6666
scrypt-n: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:2222

Choosing a coin is kinda tough if you don't already know what algo it uses.
It would be nice to have the site updated to list the algo next to the names of the coins.

Also, when clicking on a coin (myriadcoin), it states:
Username: your myriadcoin wallet address

...I assume this means your BurstCoin wallet address and not a wallet for that specific coin, right? (might want to update that as well)
or are those for direct mining those coins?
I'm pretty sure that the front end is a copy/paste of another pool, which is why parts of it really don't make sense. Hopefully he'll get it cleaned up and customized for BURST, but in the mean time, don't try to pick a coin, just pick one of the algos he lists, the pool will automatically mine the best coin for that algo.
ty, fixed the issue where it was saying to use the specific coin wallets as worker names

PS, anybody mining on BurstMP.com - it doesn't look like you've solved a block yet, so I don't think any of you are going to get paid.
Jump on BurstMultipool.com and you can actually see what coins you're mining and stuff!

I just started mining and every single line says error reading file: and points to my exact plot file.  Is it saying error reading file because My plotting just started?  Will it eventually stop having all of these reading file errors?

Son, turn off the hidden coin crap.
Miners like to see what they're mining, so they know you're not scamming them.
You also need to customize your NOMP install at least a bit, c'mon here.  And you really need to add additional protocols.
Burstmultipool.com is already beating BTC in terms of SHA profitability.

It throws out an error because the plot file is incomplete, it doesn't actually effect anything though, and will go away when the plot finishes.

Awesome! Just threw another 600GH @ SHA your SHA pool. The "Pools" page reflects the new hashing power I added, but my individual address is only showing ~400GH... It's been 10+min since I added them, but I'll wait a little longer to see if it reflects properly.

Edit: Hashing power is now reporting properly Smiley

you're betting confused.
this is not for file\cloud storage. this is mining with unused hard drive space.
once you dedicate space to burst mining, it is not usable for anything else.

When I start the run_generate.bat file with this line:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1024m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate *my address* 56000 7168000 2048 6
The PC uses 100% of the CPU and only 2.4GB of 16GB RAM , is it normal?
