Just used new QT executable instead of the old one, no other files changed. Get his whe run: itod@ubuntu:~/.magi$ ./ubuntu_14_magi-qt_v1.0.0.1 ubuntu_14_magi-qt_v1.0.0.1: src/kernel.cpp:487: unsigned int GetStakeModifierChecksum(const CBlockIndex*): Assertion `pindex->pprev || pindex->GetBlockHash() == (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)' failed. Aborted (core dumped)
This is due to unsuccessful assertion of genesis block; looks like you have the prior block data there; if so, delete the folder ~/.magi/testnet2 folder.

Is there a Windows compilation for the Nvidia miner that you have in the link??

Awesome, also running the daemon on more vps nodes to debug the block stuck issue as seen in 1st testnet. We will be good to go for form launch once we confirm that.

Anyone is able to compile a windows cudaminer, we offer a bounty for that; please contact me for details.

It looks nice. BTW, 3 blocks mined in an hour on one i3 core. Edit: do you have some special instructions for running this on an Amazon instance?

qt is working fine and synching
both magi-cpuminer and magi-minerd work too the magi-minerd is faster on my system though
i cant test cudaminer as i dont have nvidia gpu

Hmm, I don't have prior experiences on that, so none effective instructions. What I can see is that hashing will be done by the CPU of Amazon instance. So this will be all about cpu mining, and would be less efficient compared to gpu mining in general. Running daemon & miner on Amazon instance won't be any different from running in PC, let's say using debian. The difference will be the type of CPU, which could be much more efficient than one's laptop. Making use of the efficiency of CPU though needs some optimizations on the mining program, on which, unfortunately, I don't idea.

Thanks for testing. Is magi-cpuminer working fine? Both cpu miners found blocks? I ran once getting error miner killed looks like due to memory exhausting. Also I'd like to see the network sync issue; something like any block stucks in the next time of sync. I am also recording the PoS-II mining; these numbers needed if you can help: balance in the wallet, PoS mining rewards, how long staked.

I've considered AWS GPU instances, they are available now with Nvidia CUDA drivers: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/using_cluster_computing.html#gpu-instance-current-limitationshttps://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00FYCDDTEI'm willing to give one instance a spin if you point to tested CUDA miner for Magi.
