Awesome, that's the result of your great work, Joe. You left some well known names behind you. 2015 is the year of the Magi Yea it's really awesome! Lots of dev are on the first list. Only the best 25 going to the finals. Joe finished as number 4 is fantastic! It mean that although Magi was launched only almost 4 months ago people notice the great and unique developments Joe made in the altcoinworld! Congratulations Joe!! Keep up the good work!

Everything is Magical. Business as usual then As for the hit on Poloniex earlier, I would say that it was taken rather well and some shrewd investors picked up some very cheap XMG while the rest of the market hardly flinched. It will take a while for investors to move some more finance to that exchange. I got sold some at 4000. Thanks. I sold some at 8200 a fews days ago to finance that purchase so I doubled my XMG. Everything is Magical. XMG Magi. The coin of the future ... here today.

This reward block decision, I don't know if it's good or bad, but it seems scaring new miner.

This reward block decision, I don't know if it's good or bad, but it seems scaring new miner.
I'd agree, mostly. Miners are mining for something, mostly. People stepped into this game are investing or the likes, mostly; me, either, mostly. When you're expecting something and actually you got it, the fact will be that there are some other people who can get even more. Things in nature should be under a force to resist growing or decaying. Things will go crazy or anti-natural when out of control. We're getting more and more coins, because you can't practically mine bitcoin, litcoin, coin 3, coin4, and so on. Chance of mining exists in every new coins being created, but getting unlikely by the time, and you'd chase another new coin, again and again. Coin magi is experimental as to its block rewarding design; the bottom line, I'd say, is that we will never see a day coming the explosion of mining force, like what happened to bitcoin, but surely as an individual in it unlikely getting coins easily. We might recall a fact that miners are to maintain the public ledger of the coin system as designed by Satoshi, which should contrast that the existing of the block chain is to reward miners.

New wallet v1.2.1.1 (not mandatory, but strongly recommended):http://coinmagi.org/files/magi-release/m-wallet-1.2.1.1-win.ziphttp://coinmagi.org/files/magi-release/m-wallet-1.2.1.1-macosx.dmghttp://coinmagi.org/files/magi-release/m-wallet-1.2.1.1-linux.tar.gzSource code: https://github.com/magi-project/magiCompiling from the source code is recommended for linux. The new wallet fixes public key for delivering messages into "error" section (command line) or the status bar of the Qt client. Also a few other updates are included in the new version. Enclosed include the 64 bit wallet. The compilation really spent me some time; the 64 bit wallet was keeping crashing, but pretty fine now as I tested in all of my home computers (windows8). To be safe, PLEASE rename the folder %appdata%\magi to something else before the first run, so that you will have the original block data untouched if something goes wrong. By confirming everything works properly, then close the wallet, rename the folder back to %appdata%\magi and restart the client. BE SURE make a backup of wallet.dat. Let me know any issues and desired improvements.

The facebook votes for rynomster have been disqualified due to the large number of double and non-legit votes and for not honoring the terms of this award. This however would not have changed the winner.
We would also note the individuals who are new to the crypto scene though have been supported in great numbers. People such as Joe Lao from Magi and Kingscrown from Exclusive Coin.
Very proud!

I did spend some time and tried to figure out the CPU algo, but all have been done just under the range of my knowledge. People are talent; no one would know the capability other people can do. It's not my intention to hold firmly the CPU algo statement. PTS was arguing only CPU minable, and was awarding how many dollars for a GPU miner? Everyone knows that PTS is minable with GPU now. Once upon a time, someone was suggesting me that, go for a CPU algo, finish the PoW mining and then going into PoS. That was right likely, but not all to me. Pure PoS is not right way I figured. Wolf0, you're absolutely right (not the GPU part since not proved yet), that "just because no one bothers to spend the time on it" cause it's unprofitable. Let me extend the statement, the idea of GPU mining is neither profitable for now, nor profitable in the future even when magi gets into top. I encourage people to work on a GPU miner for magi, but surely up to you whenever you see a time coming with profits. Wondering?... read the OP, or the coinssource article, evok3d did spend a lot time researching and writing before publishing the article: http://www.coinssource.com/coin-magi-a-cpu-miners-dream-proof-of-mining-pos-ii/I've spent time on this, and the idea behind it worth of a try; I want to say magi is a coin CPU minable "ever". I almost forgot to post the miner, for some people who may want to run it in computers with limitations, just use the "-e" option. # m-cpuminer-legacyhttps://github.com/magi-project/m-cpuminer-legacyminerdlegacy -o stratum+tcp://pool_url:pool_port -u pool_user.worker -p password -t thread_numbers -e cpu_efficiency This is none different from the regular miner, except that an option " -e cpu_efficiency" is added, where cpu_efficiency is a number between 1 - 100, for example, 50 representing for 50% of CPU usage. A few instances: -e 75 --> -e 50 --> -e 25 --> -e 1 --> Hardfork is coming up!! Don't forget to update to the new version guys! PLEASE NOTE that this guy modified the download link to the Windows binary!! I've found three other threads where he did the same. Professional scammer. Mods, please check this fact then delete this post.
