Very basic usage of IRC, this should get you started if you are unfamiliar with IRC.

All commands for IRC start with an "/" so if a line starts with that it's going to be handled as a command and not text that you want to send.
Any other characters will be interpreted as an message / text.

Some basic commands and how to use IRC.

<Text>This is going to send that text to your current active window.
Example of text sent private
Example of text sen to a channel
As you can see there's very little difference between a chat room (Channel) and private message to someone

/me <Text>This is going to be shown in the channel for everyone, it's for something you do.
The output of /me loves Magi is going to be "ex33s loves Magi"
How /me looks like

/msg <IRC-Nickname> <message>This is going to send a message to that irc nickname.
How private message looks like
Please note that it's not until they respond you get an private window like the example image above

To use our IRC bot (m-bob) you'll need to have an registered nickname on IRC and here's how that's done, we actually recommend your register your nickname, this way if someone has your nickname you can force them to change nickname.

/msg nickserv register <Nickname> <Email>This will start the process of registering your nickname on the current IRC network, follow the instructions sent to you mail and on the screen to complete the registration.
The start of the registration process
Follow the instructions sent to your mail. My instructions for completing the registration.
When completed all steps it's going to look like this

Using NickservAfter the registration I recommend that you set the enforce flag for your nickname, this will make anyone that tries to use your nickname without identify himself (More about identify below) with password to change his nickname to something else. This is what enforcement looks like

To identify your self with nickserv you haft to type "/msg nickserv identify <Your Password>", Here's for my demo account

To learn more what commands that are available and how to use them can be found out by "/msg nickserv help", this will list all available commands and howto get help for a specific command.

This is a very basic howto use IRC, Dive deeper in to using IRC
Thanks dude!
I can use this!

Price of magi is stable and has good merits to its deliverables. This coin is going to only gain ground from here on out. Price has to be three or five times higher to gain it's real shift towards reality.

200+ pages of bitcointalk thread plus all other threads and communities discussing this coin. Its bound to pick up mass steam as bitcoin doesn't have the fundamental developments magi has delivered.

Absolutely. XMG has strength in depth, plus the beauty of it is that anybody with a PC can join in. I have several friends who toyed with the idea of mining Bitcoin but were put off by the up-front costs involved, let alone the technical complexities. Now I have them mining XMG and enjoying the steady trickle of income from it.

It's fun and it's easy. Long live XMG.

Hey

I think most others will agree bitcoin hype has died off and something else will take its spot with the start of leading into bitcoin. Bitcoin will survive .. Something new is coming ... Or it is already here? Magi that is.

Major props on developments of the miners though.

For whatever reason, IRC is still popular. It's like something where you can find a person next to you.

IRC predates the internet, it's beautiful!  One of the backbone protocols of the old academic net, the playground of hacktavists, warez-mongers, 0-day crowd and where I got all my satellite hacks back when I was Hexdef6!  Ah the memories.  Won't die for a long time, too useful, too much built in and around it.  Great system though.

It's a great compliment by comparison with bitcoin. Something out there still makes me worried here and there though. The least, we'll try to find places to spend XMG.
