Is there a XMG/magi mining calculator around? I just want to know how much XMG I could mine with an eight core CPU. 

No Magi does not have mining calculator yet. Maybe you can test it with the eight core CPU and post results here.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to build a custom rig with two 8 core CPUs to see how many XMG I would mine. I hope to earn some profits, otherwise I'll just do it for fun! 

what cpus are going to mine in your machine?
with that you can estimate their hashrate and then look in pool stats for users with average hashrate.

I'm going to use 2 AMD FX Eight Core CPUs (one on each motherboard) to mine XMG. I'll try to mine with them as soon as I have time to build my rig. If everything goes well, I'll try invest in more CPUs to expand my hashrate.

It's nice to see a coin with great potential growing in community and development. It's been a year since Magi's inception and I hope that it will continue to succeed in the next years to come. One of the features that I love about Magi is its unique BLK reward. I have faith in Magi and hope that it becomes popular in the near future for an ever increase in price.

need help for POS, my stake was 106 then dropped to 86, network weight was about the same 7**K, but expected time had risen, for that time I had incoming fund to this address, question is higher or lower stake is better and do I have to consolidate inputs to have a better chance with staking?

At this moment most of the time the hashrate is already very high. This means almost no blockreward. Like one said before these cpu will deliver between 4 and 20 XMG a day.
I guess investing in XMG coins and staking will get higher reward.

I've found that stake weight peaks pretty quickly on this coin dropping off fast as the coins get older.  Keeping UTXO block size somewhere above 200 and below 1500 seems to be working pretty well for me at this time, but I bet this depends a bit on your size of investment.  Smaller blocks have a tendency to age too long and bigger blocks break pretty quickly resulting in more maintenance in recombining blocks and lost coin weight when frequently recombining blocks.  It would be nice to have the coin weight per UTXO block listed in the advanced coin control dialog - is this there in the newest version?

My guess is that investing in coins and staking rather than purchasing advanced hardware will result in a better return in the long haul as PoW mining rewards have a tendency to run pretty low sometimes.  Besides, maybe I'm just biased but I'm betting the value of XMG will increase in the long run adding some frosting to the birthday coin staking magic.    Hardware tends to follow a slow decline into the dumpster a few years after purchase.

If all goos well, the game will start at 7:30 pm (19:30) Amsterdam, Netherlands Time  GMT 5:30 (17:30)
The game will NOT be with 2 tracks coz i build the 2nd much to hard to play so the first track will be longer.
Minecraft is the game and with forge and some mods its going to be very funny, hard and hilarious.
