Eventually the bulldozers might realize they are wasting electricity.  I can't imagine the heat being produced, I already had to slow down my tiny miners to reduce heat in the summer.  OHHHH it's RAINING in IRC!
People who own such Hashfarms propably give a fuck about the electricity while bathing in theyre own stupidity xD

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I would remove suprnova and maxminers from OP as official pools, hopefuly that way, new users will use smaller pools.
Just sayin...
good comment. Only support those pools who limited their hashrates per user Cool
Understand what you are saying. But Suprnova will always be there and with full respect for OCminer.
This is just a period Magi has to go through.
It shows that the unique Magi blockreward system is working as it should be.
It's also unique in the world of digital currencies where we are all used to use max hashrate to mine more coins. Magi is showing that using less hashrate less power give better results.
Thanks to our genius dev the mindset in Cryptoworld with the goal of becoming a decentralized currency for all people living everywhere is changing.
This is one of the reasons Magi is the next generation digital currency. If Satoshi added this to btc from the start btc would have a much higher value at the moment.
So as I said before this is a period Magi has to go through and will be much stronger afterwards.

I also understand miners don't like to see others using high hashrates. Not everbody is ready to change the mindset yet.
Give it some time!
During that period I will buy the coins from the big miners and donate them to the Proof of Mining campaign.
For now I will donate again 10.000 XMG to the Proof of Mining fund.
Thanks for reading!

Well said mate. And for donation of 10k XMG - I have no words.  Lips sealed
Respect!

I regard mining XMG as a form of altruism.

It is does not make much economic sense when the amount I spend on electricity per day to mine a handful of XMG would actually be better spent on buying some XMG on the exchanges.

I use about £3.60 per day on electricity to run my machines, generating about 10 XMG per day by mining with the current block rewards. I could buy about 320 XMG with that right now. When we had that bumper crop a few weeks back the most I got was about 80 XMG in one day.

Come to think of it, I must be nuts Grin

I get approx 5xmg in 1 1/2 days and my energy costs are also ..."dont want to think about that now" lol my damn slow connection ruins a lot for me ^^'

But i think about buying some XMG soon to compensate some costs since i am pretty sure that the Price for Magi Is truly on a path wich goes upup to YAY

I notice that my DropBox links have not come back up yet, so basically everything is broken. You cannot obtain any Windows miners until I set something else up. This means far more trouble than just patching some code - you don't know the half of it - so thanks to the stupid twat who DOSed my DropBox and thanks to the stupid twat bulldozing away on Maxminers too for ruining things, utter bloody morons.

Don't anybody dare ask me when I will have it fixed. It will be fixed when it is fixed and I will post here when it is fixed. All new software development postponed too because of one f*****g moron.

Looks like I picked a bad week to give up amphetamines.

That's sad to hear amigo!
Are there some option to protect those items?

Windows Software Re-release

Here is a new version of the PoolStats utility to replace the broken one.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ims150be2wgxtoo/XMGpoolstats.exe

This is a self-extracting Zip file which will unzip to folder C:\XMGminer\PoolStats by default. When unzipped, run C:\XMGminer\PoolStats\Setup.bat and choose "Proceed with setup" when prompted. This will create a new Desktop icon for you. Double-click the Desktop icon and there you go Smiley

^^ What NeedIfFindIt just said. There was a very high difficulty figure earlier due to the bulldozers on Maxminers which might explain a lot, but I would suspect you have a cron job down. Seen this kind of thing before Wink

Ok - the cronjobs had some issues. But the syslogs are ok. Have started them manually.

The pool is closed (what kind of gameserver)
The winner is Counter Strike Source then Counter strike Go and 3rd is Team Fortress. Wink
I've been coming across some posts lately saying that people are trying or willing to start their own server for the magi community. Are those plans for real? If so, we wouldn't need to spend our time on it ourselves.

If i'am correct this one received the most votes?

That's nice!
I will join teamspeak this week again amigo!

Oeps sry, i didnt saw that post or did see it and dont remember it (getting old here Grin)
Yes your right (or left) its CSS Counterstrike Source.

For those who want to join our Teamspeak, you dont need to great a account on our website, just putt this ip 85.214.157.196 in teamspeak fill in a username no need for a pasword and your done Wink

Thanks Goldlabel.
I will join teamspeak soon. Think the day after tomorrow i will be online there!!
Oke we will be there (like always) just call my name and ill be there Cheesy
For those who play arma2 dayz mod, we also have a server for that just started to day.
you need the Dayz Launcher and putt The fruits in the server menu.

Talked with Goldlabel and TF_Outlaw about the coming development. They are on it!
Again awesome developments for XMG.
Will keep you all informed!

As I see, that some start a ArmA2 Server and CS Server, is someone interested in ArmA3? I have some dedicated Server so I can easily run the game. You can decide which Mod you are interested in. May we can call them XMG Gaming #1......as well?

Cheers
