For all having connections issue (might not be an issue anymore), this is a node I'm running: 104.131.42.100. It was down for some time. I'll get a few others up and running.

when you are on poloniex and so many other exchanges what is the point of worrying about bittrex?  if they dont see the value in having magi listed there or need to have .5 BTC trading a day happening then that is honestly not the XMG communities problem.  Anyway, it would be great to still be listed on as many exchanges as possible, but my point is that bittrex does not make or break the project so it's difficult for me to really care enough to do anything.
I have a similar feeling, it feels a little greedy IMHO - I know they need to make a profit - however most other exchanges don't have such steep rules on volume and are making good profit, makes it difficult for smaller coins to exist on there - quite a lot of smaller coins are using robots on the exchange just to keep the volume up - doesn't seem honest to me. It it goes - it may be a good thing for cryptopia and nova.

Hi Abiky, Very nice to see you here again!
I hope to launch a new proof of interest later.
The Proof of Interest campaign is still very unique for altcoins.
And the last one gave a great interest. 6.7%
 Grin

Yeah I kind of missed that last Proof of Interest campaign which had a pretty good interest rate. But this time, I'll be prepared for the next POI, as I have bought up more Magi to meet up with the minimum requirements of the campaign.

Nevertheless, Magi is a very unique altcoin with its own mining algorithm, as well as having a Proof of Interest campaign, along with a good community and solid development. In my eyes, Coin Magi should be worth way more than what it is right now.  Roll Eyes

I have a problem with the wallet:

..

After a while the connections go back from 4 until 0 and the program says wallet offline.

What can be the problem?

So much staking and so a low reward is also not right....

Any ideas?

I believe magi's PoS seems working well, cause it makes one having such a huge amount of coins being too much concerned about the rewards. Smiley No offense. It's kinda coming down to how so-called PoS-II works; be sure to check if what you PoSed matches with APR; if not, then could be strategy of putting how much coins in stake..

As to the network height, it's supposed to be fluctuating.. However, I'll get it into be on the to-do-list of the mPoS things that's part of the works after this release.
Thanks Joe. Very nice.

Stacey2911 i will check it. I'am only human and could make a mistake. I will send you a message after the check.

No worries mate, completely understandable, these things happen
Hmm i don't understand what happend.
I did sent your interest-shares to the wallet-address i received from you.
Could you pls check again?

Interest from POI IV turned up. My wallet was corrupted from the network issue, had to repair it. Thanks a bunch mate Smiley

More people should mine on xpoolx.com its a great pool with a great admin. iv been mining riecoin there for some time and have nothing but good experiences.
on the off chance you do run into problems the admin is easy to get in touch with and responds within a couple hours max if not in minutes. oh and no fees so that's a plus.

 Grin Grin Grin Sometimes i see this kind of remarks and ask myself if people even know what this coin stands for.
There is no need for gpu and if there would be miners mining with gpu`s the dif get so high you cant even get close to make any profit.

Good day!

I'm doing a CPU mining of m7m algo via Zpool, but of course the payout is in bitcoin. I want to mine solo, can anyone give me a stable pool for m7m and a stable cpu miner binaries? I have tried to download Spexx's minerd but the link is dead, I tried others but there is an error:

Code:
[2017-01-27 10:56:26] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://mining.xpoolx.com:3334
[2017-01-27 10:56:26] 4 miner threads started, using 'm7mhash' algorithm.
[2017-01-27 10:56:27] JSON-RPC call failed: {
   "code": -1,
   "message": "invalid method"
}
[2017-01-27 10:56:27] ...retry after 30 seconds

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
It's OK now, I just changed the pool to suprnova. But I have another question, what XMG pool accepts anonymous mining?

Hello, I didn't spot a pool that allows anonymous mining for Magi, I'm using suprnovr - but I hear some other pools give slightly better payouts on average (didn't get a change to research that yet)

Volume on Bittrex is nudging up a little - not sure if there is enough there to stop XMG from being delisted - but looking pretty close...

I use sometimes zpool anonymously.
Just you have to be careful to put the password c=XMG if you mine into a Magi address.
minerprogram -a m7m -o stratum+tcp://m7m.mine.zpool.ca:6033 -u magi_address -p c=XMG

There are 2 things I don't like there though:
1. They send payouts very often and sometimes they are very small (filling my wallet with dust)
2. Their fee is 2%

Think we need all Magi friends to help with more volume there.

While this sounds secondary, I'd post preliminary switch of logo to a new version (blue the primary) for clarity and simplicity:

I propose in all of the situations where logos are used a switch should be done. Pls help to spread the words.

Here is a link to png files: http://coinmagi.org/files/logo/v2/, where you can also find the .svg. You're very welcome to improve / design logos.

@goldlabel, initial logo pngs will be remained here: http://coinmagi.org/files/logo/v1/

Interesting, I like the simplicity in the new logo - wondering a couple of things
 - has the II gone? I always associate magi with ΣII
 - will new users easily be able to associate the coin with the logo?
