Well since their is no use mining for the moment...:

I'm taking the downtime to update and power down my SBC's clean logs and other housekeeping duties...

Then rearrange them into a more suitable layout for powering and blowing the dust and cobwebs off them...

What SBC's you running?
I have 5 RPI3 running off 100% solar.
Was thinking of trying a ODROID-XU4 Octa-Core, anyone try that board?
I've been trying to mine XMG with XU4s. They give me about 24khash/s each, running at ~11W. I suppose that's pretty good but atm I got them working at mining some other CPU coin.
https://imgur.com/a/ynxSH <--- my 12 XU4Q rig
That's a good hash rate, nice rig by the way!
What coin are you on now?
Thanks!

I don't want to advertise other coins in the Magi thread but if you look around a bit there are at least 2 more good CPU-only coins Smiley And then of course, lots of crap ones. But I really do recommend the XU4s for mining. I'm sure you can get hashrate higher than 24khash/s, but I haven't bothered tweaking the settings for XMG mining.
Odroid, the manufacturer of XU4s also released a SBC called HC-1 which is a bit cheaper than the XU4 and is better suited for mining. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2254852.0

Thank's for the heads up on the HC-1, will definitely check that one out!

Hello people like, I'm investigating a little the matter this, I think the dev could get to put the black list the address xmg in question (the attacker) has obviously found some fault I suspect that in staking, there is something very particular in all this, in the nodes that appear in the network xmg there is only 1, a single node running version 1.4.3.1 whose ip is
109.184.172.68, I hope that in the bifurcation of chain that address is blacklisted (in case there is some mode on the part of the devs) and all the addresses involved in this activity

Generating blocks apparently every 10 min 1 second

Address
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/address.dws?9PPaFHjMWYkFaVdC4us94W8Zr7zHg4wAxz.htm

Blocks "found" by said direction, first execution and attack
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/block.dws?1585445.htm

Suspicious node (the only one using software previous to the recent one, old version "m-core: 1.4.3.1")

Great to hear work is in progress - is it problems with the pools or wallet? Looks like somebody tried and failed to attack the coin.

Looks like it. Why would somebody do that? Competition?
Did Magi grow to big? Whatever... Magi will continue and faced bigger issues in the past. And always came out stronger.

Absolutely agree about the fact that we have a legendary developer. Also, requesting the m-core.org moderator to please update the BLOG Section of the page, frequently. I understand it is mostly for announcements, alongside I also believe, everyone should learn how is this coin really winning hearts; and has undergone attacks.
This is a good sign for the community of Magi Followers.

Greed... Most likely, the attack was to create and gain more Magi. If the community and confidence wasn't so strong the price could have crashed, enabling them to both mine more and buy on the way down

Indeed, every issue only seems to make Magi stronger and cement the community - these kind of attacks actually show the worth of the coin in increasing as people are trying to find any exploit they can to acquire more.

Well, the wizards produced by the attack are currently in a bittrex portfolio
You can check here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/block.dws?1597013.htm
that the attacking direction (9PPaFHjMWYkFaVdC4us94W8Zr7zHg4wAxz) has transferred its funds to the bittrex wallet (9MyXnZw1vRA1kckdeja2TaM443xieGeUG5) and apparently has consumed parts of such funds, now the funny thing here, is that the attacker made a mistake to send an identified address, I think you could get to identify the Attacker through this way, only the bittrex official team has to announce the event to bittrex so that it takes its measurements (for example temporarily block wallets to deposit)

I think Magi should step up its promoting game. Its quite unknown coin to public.

I see todays trend of rebranding doing nice work, have Magi ever consider this option?
