Something is wrong the chain. Everhting tets Orphand. Look at Zpool.

https://zpool.ca

Miner 795   total has 36.5 MH/s but only Orphand blocks.

But you actually did read my post above yours, or ? Smiley

nope. wish i did as i see you have thoroughly addressed it. SO XMG seems to be doomed. The attacker has majority nodes and POW.

actualy it's fixable.. Just the reorg's need to be disallowed if X blocks time are before the last valid blocks.. As it's simply impossible.

why is joelao95 not responding?

I'm worrying that bittrex will delist this coin since the volume is so low.
Any opinions ?
everything is possible of course, recently many coins delete at this exchange.

ocminer said the fix is easy so if the dev wakes up or get time to address the issue then it should be fixed. Verge had the same exploit and they hard-forked.  I don't think it is the end. just a zero-day bug that needs to be fixed.

the amount of time expected regarding stake won't change about how long you will have gone while not stake your weight against nettwork.

Issues pop up from time to time and at least for Magi, they get fixed in a timely manner.

(replying just to watch for update on blockchain)

EDIT: Suprnova has a warning of the pool being stopped because of the problem, but testing with my pi, it seems to be working and paying out, so not sure what's up.

True that. Joe has been pretty good at fixing the issues in the past, so I have no doubt he will sort this one out as well. It will be only a matter of when he has the time to do it.

so we run pure POS now with ultra low inflation
in my opinion the chain is not broken but finally repaired

get rid of POW is a step in right direction

as u will see chain is perfect stable with pure POS

(but for real 100% POS security the system should change to static reward POS with no coin age as for example DMD Diamond is using)

coin age for POS have just way to many exploit paths and possible attack vectors

Joe is usually great at fixing any issues - and sometimes the price even increases during issues - especially if there are problems transferring coin as the exchanges become closed markets for a short amount of time
