Either something's still wrong with the coin, or my wallet is acting weird because it appears that this coin is slowly decreasing in value. I remember just a couple days ago this coin was worth $0.34 USD, but now it's worth $0.26 USD. What's going on?
because BTC price drops to around $8K Yep, I'm trading with about 40 alts, and all of them are suffering this week, Magi is actually faring better than most

How comes that my wallet stops syncing after a while? Stuck on 1822795 for a few days now. All I get in the debug.log is "trying connection" and then an error that the peer it tries to connect to basically is dead
YOU WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE BLOCKCHAIN, WHICH EVERY ONE AGREES ON FOR THAT OPEN CONSOLE AND ENTER "rescan" WHICH WILL RESCAN THE WALLET FOR MISSING TRANSACTIONS YOU CAN ALSO USE checkblocks=0, IF EVEN THAT DOESNOT WORK, dOWNLOAD 1.4 GB FILE FROM THIS LINK: https://m-core.org/bin/block-chain/m-block-chain-1813042.zipif aafter all this you see less balance in your accoun enter "repairwallet" in console window -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- magi rigs for rent with very low one time payments. hashes upto 150khps and duration upto 1 year. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3907169.0rescan in console window doesn't do anything. I get Method not found (code -32601) I will try deleting the database, blocks and peers.dat file and downloading the 1.4GB blockchain and see what happens

LOL this is a funny comment. You wallet is acting weird because your balance decreases. No, your brain is acting weird because you invested in this. Your wallet can't be blamed. If you take your money and buy an empty wooden worthless box for 800 USD cash, do you then argue that your wallet acted weirdly?

That's the only option for you, I had to do the same, dont let wallet update from beginning, it will take days and use 25 percent of your cpu as it does so. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- magi rigs for rent with very low one time payments. hashes upto 150khps and duration upto 1 year. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3907169.0

Dont we have enough pools already? Nothing wrong with more pools. If there were more small pools that enforced hashrate limits and actively banned botnets then the coin would be healthier.

Sorry but i really cant see that happening. you forget something the smaller the pool the less blocks found the less blocks found by that pool the longer it will take users to mine xmg. unless minerclaim limits users or shuts down. its pointless. i've already tired a few small pools past week. run for over 24 hours and earnt almost nothing. ran on minerclaim and got 3xmg in 24 hours. See the point now. As much as i would love to see another pool with limits on it. while minerclaim is up and running its pointless. the more hashrate a pool has the more it finds blocks for its users edit: Sorry to sounds blunt/rude minerclaim is in a way the caner of the coin Edit: Until the devs get their finger out of their butts and start enforcing limits on solo miners and pools we can kiss this goodbye Edit: Over 100MH unaccounted for when adding up all the pools hashrates.

Sounds good, but why the site is xmr2018? should be xmg2018 The symbol of our coin is XMG. XMR is Monero symbol. Just guessing

But you can't get an honest picture of long term performance of a smaller pool off of a 24 hour period. You will of course get more consistent results mining on minerclaim because they find a consistent number of blocks. I fully understand it is more attractive to see your coin balance growing at a steady pace though. For most miners that is probably a comforting thing to see.

For most miners that is probably a comforting thing to see. i have done longer mines in the past with very similar results. To see your electricity isnt going to waste yes. Dont get me wrong i would love more pools means more freedom of choice, etc. But until something is done about limiting hashrate across the board its pointless. Edit: as i said before Over 100MH unaccounted for when adding up all the pools hashrates.

*knock on wood* I'm just glad to see that Magi is back to somewhat normal, where the banter is about whales and not some Russian dude.
...though I can say that I miss the 40XMG block reward period. That was nice.

Losing, what causes it to lose? whether it is stealing, or getting lost, try to speak clearly.
They are just "gone". On my minerclaim overview stands "all time earnings: 34,10726013740 coins". But my wallet shows only 12 Coins. My autopayment is on 10 coins. So i am missing 22 coins. I never received that coins and they aren't on my minerclaim as well. They just disappered. The question is, I ask who, who answered? what happens, are you guys the same person?
