Far from it -- SNF continues to support it and is doing additional research with the chain! We have a renewed interest in hosting a market place and will be building out a new home page for it with multiple language support likely early next year. -dvd

sad to see this coin didn't go anywhere, it has a very rare blockchain code & could have been something big

Why Give up, the chain is still working as it should & will continue to as long as people keep staking. Bittrex was a killer to many coins, but many coins are still going and crypto currency is just starting to go mainstream. I still say that if you start a Discord server / channel people will come and then you'll have enough to vote for more exchanges, as there are a lot of them out there. You can play games on Discord & also people Give away coins. What ever happen to the ATM's with 2Give are they still out there?
I also see that CryptoID is still supporting 2Give https://chainz.cryptoid.info/2give/#If you need someone to just keep posting on Twitter, Facebook & here to get the coin going again, I'm up for the task & think that we could still build a good following of 2Give. I just had really high hopes for the coin and hate to see it fade away, like a few of the POS coins that I supported & there chains broke from people not keeping their wallets staking... 27 peers on the network is good for being just a test coin as of late Maybe update the subject heading to reflect the coin needing more followers to support it & take away the Bittrex statement that was ages ago...?

You're making a lot of sense. Will think on it a bit. We have been considering firing up the seed node "air drop" again where were bounce blocks of coins around the network dropping the 1% rewards with each move in order to smooth out the block emit cadence. Alternatively we could do another "swap" and move the chain to an ERC-20 token. Thoughts? -dvd

Good day.
I think someone releasing a Linux wallet (or simple compile instructions) for the latest versions of Ubuntu / LinuxMint would also help....

Are you asking about one with a user interface ?
The command line build works and is what is powering the seed nodes

Also a Linux compile qt-linux64.zip would help for those who can't build from command line. There are a lot of Linux users out there who are unable to build from source, I've only done it a couple times & hate doing it.

2Give? Name doesn't reflect balances. Top10 have 72% of coins. That doesn't really reflect the 'give' part of the coin. I guess it falls into the typical crypto hodl mentallity. Just sayin'

Any wallet that begins with "GiveCoin*" is an original SNF non-profit seed wallet and the Give2SNF* is the master "burn" wallet address that holds coins "retired" and pulled out of circulation.
During the periods of "air-drops" we bounce large blocks of coins between the nodes so that it drops the 1% fee onto the network.
That's truly "giving" in the spirit of things :-)

Why burn when you can give and someone could trade with it?

I put "burn" in quotes -- they are just no longer in circulation.
There is no such thing as "free money" -- if you want to earn 2GIVE you have to work for it. Turn up a wallet and check the box "compete for block rewards" -- then stake coins to earn the inflation (aka "interest") .

There are now 30 nodes on the network, they are unknown clients or Protocol though. Also I've seen freiexchange listed on cryptoID on the market place section on other coins and wonder if they could add that for 2GiveCoin if we message them and ask. Are you going to update Facebook & Twitter, it's been over a year or more since you've posted to them? It's better 2 Give P.S. you should change the Original Post Subject line so people who are looking at Announcements (Altcoins) see it & not the Bittrex removal line. Changing the subject of a post only does it to that post, but it still shows the Original Post with Bittrex removal when searching Announcements & has to be changed from the OP edit subject line
