What is the staking percentage?
Netcoin has PIR and OWI - personal interest rate and open wallet incentive. It's a sliding scale so the more you have the higher your reward. its 2% min and 10% max. Check this chart

BTW unnamed.exchange has both ETH & uTip markets open for NET as well.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

looking at the market on Freiexchange it's obvious a BTC market is too high a threshold for netcoin.
someone should ask Frei to open an LTC or Doge market for netcoin.

They don't have any BTC now, only DOGE markets.

V2.5 is the first Version I tried on my Odroid. I compiled V2.5.1 today using BDB 4.8:

Quote
odroid@odroid-server:/usr/local/bin$ grep DB_VERSION_STRING /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include/db.h
#define DB_VERSION_STRING       "Berkeley DB 4.8.30: (April  9, 2010)"

Unfortunately, I'm still getting the error Cry

sorry folks maybe i'm goin full retard but how is that my win wallet is LDB (since v2.4), and your linux one is BDB ?
is it supposed to be soo different ?

odroid is a single board pc like a rasp pi isn't it? are these arm? i suspect that they haven't got the latest linux build as it should only be level db now not berkeley

No chance... I reinstalled the entire system and updated to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS but still getting the error for v2.5 and 2.5.1:

Code:
************************
EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
init_blockindex(): error opening database environment IO error: lock /home/odroid/.netcoin/txleveldb/LOCK: already held by process
netcoin in msghand

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what():  init_blockindex(): error opening database environment IO error: lock /home/odroid/.netcoin/txleveldb/LOCK: already held by process

I also tried previous versions but either I'm unable to compile them (syntax error) or I'm getting an segmentation fault when starting the daemon. So, no chance to run Netcoin on my Odroid Sad

I'm still getting this error with 3.0.0 on ordinary PC with amd64. Your blockchain is so slow and fragile ):

Forgive me if I'm wrong.... But 2.5.x or lower that 3.0.0 is obsolete chain will die stop and cause faults if you stake 1 block. Moving from a 3.0 back to 2.5 also will break your database files. Windows was compiled with Berkley and level dB the same as Linux does libleveldb. A libmemenv. A and all that jazz. Sounds like you have destroyed your block data and all you can do is update from the snapshot provided head to http://discord.Me/netcoin
As you can see above and other posts throughout MANDATORY UPDATE MEANS MANDATORY
running a sub version will cause problems at the above mentioned block height.
More updates to come soon.
Please come to the discord for info and to keep upto date.
Close to archiving this thread as well I and other team members rarely come here any more.
Thanks.
Also as side to this I run v3 on mac Linux Windows all without a hitch however all systems have over 20gb ram and plenty of cpu overhead. Only issue I do have is gui crashes due to gnome it freezes but comes back on all coins I run. Pi and single boards don't run the gui well.
Oh and the code uses ssl v1. 0.2 and compiled with the latest boosts and Berkley databases no longer uses 4.8 (personally anyways) and release binarys

Hi!

I see http://net.altcoinwarz.com/ block explorer today is online again. But it shows totally wrong balances: it adds whole txin as newly minted coins on each stake. Not sure where to report this bug - it has no contacts.

UPD: it seems related to https://github.com/iquidus/explorer/issues/192
