I cant believe this thread is so quiet considering what we have here.  There is no other coin showing as much promise with industry leading tech as Shadow is.  We are definitely in the shadows here, because is seems like most people out there haven't noticed us yet. 

That's a good way of putting it. On the other hand, this pace makes getting to known the community better a bit easier. Getting more fans by the day !

I think we will be out from the shadows and into the spotlight soon.  Keep up the good work team shadow

I like Shadow so don't think for a second this comment has anything to do with the coin.  But, this is misplaced optimism.  IMO, crypto will die a painful death if BTC fails, unfortunately.  If BTC fails the public's perception of crypto will be terribly damaged.  The only thing left of the crypto world will be this community and even that will be significantly cut down.  People selling BTC for fiat right now are not putting their money into another crypto, they are probably done forever. Stop rooting for BTC to fail, it's just stupid.

Yeah, we need BTC for mass adoption, maybe in 2-3 years it can be replaced by an other crypto but right now healthy BTC = healthy SDC

I agree if BTC go back to $1000 or more SDC maybe can go at $ 200 per coin but BTC must go up not down,so we can all make a lot of money and we are all happy because at the end it's all about money we want to make money.

ShadowChat: ShadowChat is a P2P chat program that allows individuals to communicate with one another in an untraceable way. This provides an attractive alternative to compromised chat platforms such as Skype and WhatsApp. Unlike other messaging systems ours has no central servers and is encrypted end-to-end and is now integrated with html5 UI; what we are coining "cryptobrowser". You can link your friends to sites and display web hosted pictures and animated gif within the chat. In a future update we'll be adding voice, video and file attachment support.


ShadowSend (current): ShadowSend v1 (SS1) was our dual key stealth address implementation (1st for crypto), which we open sourced to the crypto community. If you hear about a new coin using Stealth Addresses chances are they are using our code.

ShadowSend v2: ShadowSend v2 (SS2) is our upcoming improvement over ShadowSend v1. It combines dual-key stealth addresses,  zk-SNARKs to privately transfer ShadowCash through the platform. With the new user-friendly GUI for both desktop and mobile operating systems, it will be easier than ever before to make and receive payments anonymously and privately. Our solution is zero knowledge trustless making the transactions 100% invisible and unlinkable.

Note: To our knowledge, the only other projects working on zero knowledge implementations are Anoncoin (Zerocoin) and Zerocash. Our protocol is completely different to theirs and features some of the recent academic breakthroughs in zero knowledge cryptographic primitives.

Do you have an idea how's the scalability in your implementation vs Zerocoin? And does it hide transaction amounts as well as addresses?

today I opened my wallet, 0 balance, 0 transaction, 0 deposits, but the wallet is encrypted, where are my coins? Shouldn't be hacked because no transaction and no deposit, what's wrong with the new wallet?

Try:

First: Always backup your wallet.dat. No matter what.

close > reopen> open debug menu > console > type "repairwallet" > enter
