Indeed,
I will just change alias and payout address,
Please make sure that the person understands the conditions.
This is NOT a debt to me, I promised nothing and I will not promise anything.
Also the asset google docs is not up to date, most of our assets have been sold, all the loans have been cleared and paid back.

//DeaDTerra

About time for an update to the assets list maybe??

We would really appreciate it! Wink
Really swamped at the moment,
but I will try to get to it if I get some time over.

what's your humble best time estimate to get all of this sold and liquidated DT?
One indicator: when Gigamining turns into Teramining (depending on BFL), Teramining will then run for 9 months.
Yea so minimum of 9 months really.
Then we have some other shares which have yet to be listed on a exchange for example BTCMC.
//DEADTerra

Do you plan on making a payout this week?
Thanks!
Depends on how many AM shares we sell.
//DeaDTerra
Any update on the payout this week? This week has been bad for bitcoin thanks to Mt. Gox but maybe we can keep the show on the road Smiley

//DEADTerra

what? 9 months?

I did not get that feeling when reading this... I read the word 'second' !
For the people who want to liquidate your position in the fund.
I am currently working on selling AM as quickly as I can while not crashing the market.
If you want out right this second I suggest doing a private deal with someone and transfering the ownership of the fund assets to that person.
//DeaDTerra

I asked to get out of this before it all crashed down, but was kindly told I was going to hang in there with everyone Smiley
That's nearly 9 months ago.

While inflicting the least hassle on anyone, I just want to get out of this asap.
I will pay a bitcoin or 2 for someone to bundle my humble share with his, and get the same price as he his.

Is that possible with someone reliable? I'm in position 56 on the investor list with a whopping 147.7. I guess before all recent payouts.

Eternally grateful

This is not something I have decided nor something I can effect.
It is due to the change in Teramining contract,
It will pay dividend for 9 months and you can not sell them or the contract will be broken.

You may as said try to find another way to get out of the fund, but I can not liquidate all assets in any time less then 9 months.

We seem to have quite a big relative share of gigaminig stuff.
I admit I am not on top of the game with regards to the viability of giga but my feeling is that it is not too reliable.
Depending on BFL... I don't even follow mining and still I know it just goes on and on.

The latest saga https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=165500.msg1800989#msg1800989
does not inspire at ALL! One guy supposedly has a BFL? Only one item shipped? Nothing surprises me anymore in bitcoin world and it still seems outrageous.

Is there an analysis of the potential it has factoring in time and asic competition ?
Present value of future returns * probability of it happening
Surely it has to be dramatically (infinitely?) less than AM considering how late they are to the game.

Forbidding you from selling the contract seems to be an effort to avoid its actual market price be reflected in a transaction.
We are just left holding a bag of nothing.

Overall, GBF is one of the few viable investments but in my experience, dragging things out rarely, ever, produce a positive effect.
Are we really losing out not breaking the contract?

Thanks for your support as usual.

There is no way to facilitate a trade,
There is no way to transfer the ownership,
The best I could do is to redirect payments, but it would be obvious and I am not even sure if I can change payment address.
Tbh, it is best to just play by the rules and wait.
Even though it is a low and painful process.

I'm reposting this, because I lowered what I was asking for to make it a better deal Smiley

Please be aware that I am currently looking to sell my portion of the Gamma BitCoin Fund. My current ownership percentage is 6.489 % of the fund (or 468.159 BTC of the portfolio value when the fund shut down. My total "in" for that percentage was 650BTC.) I am currently looking for offers to buyout my portion of the fund with BTC, ASICMINER shares, or a combination of both. I do have an idea of the valuation that I would like to receive, and I believe that it is both fair for myself and the purchaser. Currently the Gamma Bitcoin Fund has a large portion of ASICMINER shares (4,130), a portion of GIGAMINER shares (968), and a number of other shares . With its current holdings, it seems that the fund may actually pay back 100% of what is owed, and even above that. (Depending on the length the ASICMiner shares are held onto, what price they are sold at, etc. As well as the other shares.)

As a note I am not looking for offers below 300BTC. For calculation purposes, please value ASICMINER shares at .73BTC each.

If you are interested, please send me a PM with your offer. The highest offer will be accepted. My ownership of that percentage can be confirmed by DeaDTerra.

As I have commented earlier it depends on how many AM we sell and what dividends we get.
If we only have 100-200 BTC in the pot then I would rather wait.

We have roughly 3750 shares left,
500 was sold at 0.8 on the rally up.
I have also placed more shares for sale and I will sell more if we get good bids Smiley
Seems like we will be apply to pay back the full amount Cheesy

Any news on Giga?

To all verified Gigaminers:

The upgrade process to Teramining will be closed Friday morning.

To those who have already upgraded, a detailed explanation of the last few months plus the plan moving forward will be emailed to you once some lose ends are finalized.

Best,
James

See the GigaThread for moar drama, oops I mean information.   Tongue

tl;dr Giga turns into Tera only once all BFL ASICs arrive and are hashing.  Then we're locked into 9 months of dividends before being able to sell the TM shares.
