Lending rates are nuts  Smiley I am still bullish and lending my xmr.

Rates appear unchanged at < 0.1%.  I just checked, and none of my fine offers above that have been taken, so still waiting for 'nuts' again.
On the flip side, none of my 1%ers were returned while I slept either, so I'm still  Grin

oh yes now its lower
but i was lending at 0.4% last days, i am ok with that rate Cheesy

anyone have the latest trezor binaries for monero?

https://forum.getmonero.org/4/academic-and-technical/2495/experimental-trezor-firmware-testing

The Dropbox links on this page give me an error.

"Error (429)
This account's links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!"

Interesting question.
Do you or anyone know if it is an ok security practice to use the same Trezor for both BTC and Monero?

Try this link. I will check it out myself on a spare Trezor this weekend.

I've got one loan still outsanding at 0.900 % daily rate and accumulated a lot of interest payment. If Aminorex is keeping on good work for giving markets for shorters, there will be a hefty demand for Moneros only from this coin.... Therefore I would not be too worried about the demand for Moneros - the worst case scenario the only demand is derived from these loans and pushes the price even further bullish trend.
I wish the shorter will increase his/her collateral so that the loan stays open as long as possible.  Kiss

No, the developer of that phone app didn't update to represent the new blocktime.

In monero, the network hashrate is just an estimate based on the difficulty. So there was some calculation: hashrate = current difficulty * (something).

so you're seeing double the network hashrate because the difficulty doubled because the blocktime is now 2 minutes - the difficulty is adjusted so that a block will probably be found in 2 minutes.

Check again Roll Eyes

Edit: I think it is my fault. There is an app using moneroblocks.info api and for diverse reasons not yet tackled the API and the blockexplorer are distinct. Aaand I forgot to change the API HR calc.

3 biggest pools (moneropool, crypto-pool.fr and dwarfpool) + primer of course :-) are finding blocks currently.

Privacy matters, use Monero - A true untraceable cryptocurrency

Next milestone: To leave Dogecoin behind.

All it would take is a 15% rise in XMR and 15% decline in DOGE.

Good job devs, thank you for your hard work.  I went and bought more Monero after the successful fork.

Thank you Primer as well for supporting the network.  You are earning your pay and we appreciate it.  Monero is real money and we believe in free markets, so you are free to do anything you want with your Moneros that you get for this service you provide us.  Your selling them actually helps the community to grow by distributing coins and keeping prices reasonable for others to buy in.

Most of those who were borrowing my coins to short have covered now sadly.  Still a few open, and the .5 to .9% interest is amazing.  I have decided I will not lend at .1% anymore, my minimum now is .5%, and I will only lend some there, the rest will be at 1% or higher.  I had some coins lent at .1% when it spiked up ,and as a result I wasnt able to get them out on loan at much higher rates.  Its better to loan at 1% for a couple days than it is to loan at .1% for a couple weeks.  We should all do this as it increases our Monero income and creates buying pressure, as shorts must buy to pay interest.

This community is top notch and very skilled.  Not having a GUI for almost 2 years was a great choice, it attracted the technical gurus to the community while keeping Monero away from the get rich quick people, while the devs worked to continuously improve Monero.

If you're still stuck on v1 or block 1009827, I've added some suggestions gathered from the community (mainly luigi1111w, who was a *huge* help).  One of my daemons was stuck, and the pop-blocks suggestion fixed it.
