But the monero community will be[hurt], in large numbers, unless the ones currently not in possession of at least some Markka (CK new independent currency), buy it rather soon than too late.

Some part of XMR's marketcap may transit to Markka, so that the former currency loses value, and the latter gains.

Also it is possible that the latter appreciates against the former, even if both go up in the frame of reference.

@Hueristic  Crypto Kingndom is a game and not a Cryptocurency. Yes it uses asset in it, one is obviously Markka. It was one of first things you could do with Monero and deposits were only in Monero at that time. Latter I think that was changed and also accept BTC.

In general we talk lots different things here. CK definitely have links to Monero, but ofcourse is not a Monero. I guess only common sense of not exaggerating here helps.

For the most part XMR seems to have been more or less immune to all the recent Pump & Dump craziness in the alt-coin space.

We ARE up quite a bit compared to a month or two ago, but it "feels different"... more like real organic growth IMHO and not just Dash-style P&D

Whether or not this is a good or bad thing, depends on what you're looking for.

Maybe XMR will be the next target of the whales playing with alts, running around doing these pumps?  Who knows?  Maybe!

Or maybe XMR is actually a long-term buy & hold because it's one of the few cryptos that *might* actually have real value, and/or a real shot at being Bitcoin 2.0?

Only thing for sure is UNLESS and UNTIL the bitcoin block-size issue gets sorted out one way or the other, there's just gonna be a lot more uncertainty and confusion in all of this space, about everything.

What is your opinion guys, what are the odds of reaching ATH in terms of bitcoins? In fiat it is trivial assuming the price of Monero stays at current trading range but that is more thanks to the coming rise of bitcoin rather than the strength of Monero.
In my opinion, the odds are not that good but I am interested your opinions..

I feel like that at some point soon Monero will receive a sudden increase in value like DASH and Ethereum. I have no idea when or how much, and I could be completely wrong, but my gut feeling is that it'll start to rise soon.

You forget I've been around longer than CK. I know all about it and got a very nice invite which I declined but that is not the point. The point i'm making is the rules are enforced equally to all here there is no moderating of dissenting opinions and there is no favoritism shown. That is for scam coins not us. I am reminding people that this thread reflects on the community as a whole so there should be not favoritism shown. Shit I can't cont the off topic posts I've had deleted out of this thread and I don't mind at all but I doubt anyone would like me to start shilling some token. I think these little surges with the retrace all organic and will keep the floor higher. I believe this is real growth but with growth we are going to see profit taking.
