Gotta go in with the mindset that all alts will do bad as the stolen gox coins and other early adopters wring all the money they can out of us on the way down. The goal is to get outsider money focused on your coin in a SYS/USD type way. Of course Moolah was going to be it but they shat the bed and now I just hope moolah doesn't go under before SYScoin can get all their presale bitcoins.

Hey just a quick update- we have RC3 packaged and ready to go but hit an odd syncing issue  Angry as we were packaging it; we're investigating this overnight before we release anything. Last thing we need is to release a wallet with issues syncing. We are literally burning the midnight oil to make sure this is stable.

Hey Dano, you're the only person here with a bitcoin address in your signature. Are you expecting tips? Looks a little tacky.

Meh.
Not as tacky as that comment.....especially after just 11 posts.

Welcome to my Ignore List!   Grin

Lol and thanks @smaragda. Glad this user focuses on the important things  Roll Eyes. No I don't expect tips; my sig is old and needs updating. It is also the lowest possible priority on my list.

When I take care of my top actual priorities, I can update my sig. My (and the team's) top priority right now is 0.1.5. Thankfully its Columbus day here in the states and some of us (me and some other team members) have the day off the dayjob. We're working on finalizing this 0.1.5 RC3 client. I really do apologize for the delay on RC3 its all in an effort to get the most stable RC3 out as possible.

I literally (some may have seen the github tag for a moment) had this ready to release last night when we hit one last issue. Talk about frustrating  Angry! We're doing this right though, will fix the issue then release.

Thanks for doing it right, no matter how frustrating. I know how that feels.
Good to see someone has his priorities straight.
Success!

Thanks its painful to do, but imo required after the launch issues- we're serious about this stuff.

Good luck with the last issue. Fingers crossed!

Been on it all day, started with 4 "issues" that imo needed to be resolved to constitute a legitimate RC3 and we're down to 1. Making solid progress  Wink will keep everyone updated.

Seems we can buy cheap coins, are there any roadmaps in da hood?

This roadmap will need updating due to the 0.1.5 cleanup issues but the features it represents are still 100% accurate - http://syscoin.org/roadmap

Danosphere and rest of team, what commitment to excellence. It's very rare in cryptos, you guys do care about building a solid product. Plus it's rare to find honest people in cryptos, and this team is most honest I've seen yet.

Let me say as investor I'm happy with your decision to take more time when you find issues and correct them, even if it others cannot understand, and look at this as not meeting deadlines.

Better to not meet deadlines than put out broken product.

People that sold off at IPO will look back months from now and kick themselves for selling one of the best cryptos out there. Syscoin is just starting, why would people sell?

The features that are being incorporated into SYS are incredible, I've looked over github at what is mentioned there. This coin is so undervalued, and has such potential upside. Take your time on the wallet guys, and looking forward it!

Exactly our point!  Wink

It is very complicated to me.What you guys doing ? Make something which is simple, fast and easy to use. A good wallet client should make sense to the user refer to "User-friendly" . Any system designed for people should be easy to use, easy to learn, easy to remember.

You're gonna replace this with a user friendly GUI though right?

This coin is so undervalued can be for many reasons :

>>>raising concerns that investors are losing faith in the syscoin.

>>>An undervalued coin can be evaluated by looking at the underlying of the coin's DEV and its team, analyzing its road map, marketing policies, return on profits, profit retention and coin management, to determine said coin's intrinsic value.

>>> etc.

Yes, this is just showing you how to do it via the console method for the time being, for people who wish to use this particular feature now -  in time the UI within the wallet will be updated for you to do this and will be via the roadmap items.

Cool, personally I'd have waited for the GUI before making videos because the current level of complexity might just put people off. Nice to see it working though!

Yea, i get what you mean with that - we have put up various guides into text form too to help to explain in a more slimmed down detail so that almost anyone can do it http://syscoin.org/board/categories/help-center
