How long might the whole court case take? I've read that the next hearing is in December. Is there any chance that the thing will get settled before next Bitcoin halving? Because it would be good to boost the price before this.

And what about all the presale goods? Were people scammed on these too? Did anyone actually receive their cap and card?
I think most have been received even if their is a vocal minority of people(Trolls) asking for their hats on twitter!!! This has been addressed already from us, the pre-sale items were sent in 3 shipments. We waited for the time allotted for the shipments to actually get their but it's pretty much become apparent that it seems 2/3 of the shipments haven't as when checking on the usernames / handles of people posting pictures ETC there from the same shipment. Sorting that out with Customers is something we are handling at the moment, on top of all the legal stuff that's going on at the moment. It could be something as simple as the weight was not marked correctly, missing information on customs labels - anything. But until some response comes back from Royal Mail we don't know at this state. The pre sale goods were an incentive, nobody paid for the goods, they were free and out of our own pockets not from the Syscoin Funds or Pre sale we held. Once we get the courts matter out of the way and finalized we'll arrange something to compensate for anyone who didn't receive.

It would pretty much settle immediately if AG would pay up. Of course he's rather drag it out and hope the other side either gives up or runs out of money. That's the usual tactic in a civil case.
Don't think he has ben charged criminally yet.

I posted an update on Syscoin's legal proceedings against MooPay here: https://network23.org/dogecoin/2014/11/07/winding-it-up/. Essentially, Syscoin started the involuntary bankruptcy process against Moolah on Oct 22, 2014. I've provided some information to help other creditors file a claim before the upcoming hearing on December 8th.

Too lazy to research. The Matrix character was the old profile of Coderboo on Syscoin.org. Ask your fellow bagholders, stupid. Dan Wasyluk was Kittehcoin dev.

Dev's of all failed coin launches = scammers? Ketteh would be a play on the spin that allowed success of Dodgecoin that obviously didn't pan out, I do not recall there being an IPO involved that vaporized. I'm a little perplexed as to your findings, SYS is not only an innovative feature rich with potential to grow coin, but are all alt's a scam in your eye's? Exactly what is the criteria in which you make this determination? Are all non BTC dev's scammers? Who put you in charge of discouraging innovation beyond BTC? If that is the plan why would they keep the Alt thread category on this forum? Is BTC just fishing for ideas?

But you have to be very critical to avoid losing BTC. Red flags are my criteria. Not all altcoins are scammy, I made a mistake on Jumbucks, thinking Julian Yap was a Weiner puppet. I don't discourage altcoins. In fact, I hold mostly altcoins. Though, I won't tell you cuz it's not what this sock account is for.

At this point the hat is the last thing I'm worried about. I don't know the future of Sys, but I do know one thing: this coin has had some bad luck. And that's the truth.

Not to mention it was conveniently escrowed by Moolah and exclusively traded on MintPal (a Moolah acquisition) which as we all know has seemingly lost thousands of BTC, gone with its CEO Alex/Ryan. Can someone say conspiracy? Check it out, follow it up. We've been hit by a group of con artists.

The botched launch wasn't as big of a problem as handling the who situation was. The PR was terrible, Moolah was doing everything to hold the coins instead of refunding them to investors (we now know why), devs refused to set buy walls (which would give more confidence to the coin), there was no professional marketing at the launch, the ICO price was high and there were many people warning about it, there was heave censorship in the thread. The only thing that made people stick to the coin was guarantee that Moolah won't give all the presale money to the devs at once. The coin could be made into success even after that but it suffered from typical symptoms of "IT business managed by IT guys and not specialists. There was so much money at the beginning and it should have been used for services of professional company to promote the coin. BTW, where did all the money go? I understand that there were some expenses but it would be better to have more transparency with that (at the earlier stages of course, now it won't change much). So let's not talk about the botched launch all the time, because there were many factors that prevented this coin from becoming successful. I stil own some and would like the tide to change but let's get real - noone ever gets interested in few months old coins that never managed to rise about their ICO price, and one of the two biggest values (Moolah guaraneeing continuous development) is no longer an asset, and our charts are similar to those of the coins that slowly bleed out (low volume, low price and noone buying depiste that fact). It's a gamble now!

At this point the hat is the last thing I'm worried about. I don't know the future of Sys, but I do know one thing: this coin has had some bad luck. And that's the truth. A clean, smooth launch that delivered on the original promises and hadn't relied on a slapped together clone of litecoin might've made all the difference. Moolah wouldn't have been able to justify holding on to the escrow funds if these devs had delivered on what was promised pre-launch. At the very least, Moolah would've been exposed sooner.
