Better guide on its way but https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757255.msg8701466#msg8701466%C2%A0

Personally i think properly getting the marketplace out of the console & into a smooth easy to use UI is going to make SYS explode. So team lets get it right!!! Smiley Smiley

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes, that's correct. It runs off the blockchain and is completely dynamic. If you want to download the source and work on it (think: improve it), you can clone it from github here:

https://github.com/spherico/syscoin-market

Here's the reddit announcement of it:

I want to sell some stuff in xchange of syscoin but dont know how to sign up and use the site.  Sad

kencoles, it's fairly easy to sell stuff on the site. You just need to enter some commands into your syscoin wallet on your machine. Once the item has been accepted into the blockchain, it's just a matter of a few minutes until the market will sync up with it and it will show up there.

I'm thinking of throwing together a small form which will generate the code required so you just paste it into your console to list a product.

The current guide for listing is here: http://syscoin.org/board/discussion/12/guide-listing-selling-buying-on-the-syscoin-marketplace

NOTE: You aren't selling stuff "on this site," per se. You are selling something on the syscoin blockchain, and this site is simply one way to view the items, albeit in a more visual fashion than the console.

Great work! This is like another version of the Blockmarket the team is working on- this is exactly the type of stuff we have been hoping devs would catch on and start building stuff with- great job @sphericon!

We'll have a news blog post up tonight, meant to post yesterday but got tied up in other higher priority SYS issues! The 0.1.5 client is the official wallet and we'll have a blog post up tonight with that and other news! Stay tuned!

Syscoin: Business on the Blockchain. - Buy and sell goods and services, send encrypted messages and more all secured by the blockchain.

devs, consider removing SYS from bittrex and other bots supporting exchanges. Price will go to the moon

It is not the bots, there is profit taking going on and confidence in the coin is a little short at the moment.  Nothing time and dedication proven by the dev's will not heal.  If anything the coin needs to be exposed to more exchanges, this will yield more growth.

Bots definitely can have a majorly negative impact on a coin but unfortunately all the exchange with any serious voll allow bots so gotta deal with it really, unless someone can knock up a bot free exclusive Sys exchange?? NXT exclusively launched on dgex with great success.

Bots suck but they are dumb. Don't like the bots then punish the bot owners.
Buy Side:
1)place small orders and the bot outbids you.
2)continue raising your small orders until the bot triggers a sale and the order gets eaten(remember there are always orders not shown that are waiting for certain conditions to trigger). Bot owner continues to lose as they always pay what you wanted them to pay. Bots are easy to spot. F with them for fun  Grin
3)it gets fun when you notice you are pushing multiple bots up at the same time

Sell side:
1) same idea Grin

it is not the problem of exchange or bots, the confidence and dev working do.
glad to see the good work of dev team.

Yes, but Syscoin was aiming for mass adoption and being something big. Litecoin, Dogecoin etc. are on every exchange, no matter the size. I was hoping that we were aiming to be one of those coins, not one of the shitcoins that are only on Bittrex. Something should be done about this, I agree.

What would you like us to do, put in a false volume over at C-CEX just to prevent it from being delisted? We'd rather it be a real volume.

Yes, Syscoin is on other exchanges and the volume does seem to be over at bittrex at the moment. You also have to remember alot of trust has been lost at alot of the exchanges in recent months so people are moving to where they feel safe.

Again - We are working with the litigation still, we are also working on the Syscoin Market. Getting de-listed from an exchange that hardly has the volume anyway isnt something of a pressing matter, i do agree it's a little dissapointment.

We have many an intergration to bring for Syscoin, Pock.io is one which is just waiting for us to give the go ahead (take a look) as well as adoption in the asian markets bitspark.io.

Sycoin moves at Bittrex between 120 - 180 sats on a 24 - 48 hour bases, make your money on these movements, everyone else is.

When the time is right and when we can give it our full, upmost attention things will happen.
