Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

the fact that the price levelled off at 130 after a dump to 36 is an incredibly strong signal for sys, amazing not well under 100 now with that crazy dump

I wouldnt count on that now. People have to realize what happened plus the 36sat luckbox and friends are probably selling at least parts of it.

Anyway. It will probably take some time, but I see no reason why the coin shouldnt recover.

And I dont get all the fuss about c-cex. I use them sometimes for brandnew coins but other then that the volume is negligable.

devs, consider removing SYS from bittrex and other bots supporting exchanges. Price will go to the moon

It is not the bots, there is profit taking going on and confidence in the coin is a little short at the moment.  Nothing time and dedication proven by the dev's will not heal.  If anything the coin needs to be exposed to more exchanges, this will yield more growth.
+1 that's exactly whats happening imo

but profit taking from dumping to a low of 36 satoshis? i see there no options to profit, or was it a mistake, a zero too much?
who knows.. the only exchange i'm missing is poloniex.

This is really bad. Coin is going to have some hard time to return back to 200 now. That person who bought for 30 something satoshi 1 BTC of coins and other people like him might as well be building multiple Bitcoin sell walls at 150 satoshi now. :/

I think someone needed BTC. At 13:30h 14btc dump on SYS, and at 12:00 22btc dump on VRC. It may not be connected but seems to me like a same person...

It has too big of a block reward, other than that it is a great project.  Shame that AG forced the dev's into the position to dump the buy wall proceeds.  If AG hadn't done all that they wouldn't need to dump it, they would have plenty of BTC to live on.  Long ride back up, but me thinks they better attract new buyers to the community, and quick.

Great job Sphericon with Syscoins 1st web viewable marketplace Smiley  http://syscoin.market

wow this is cool!

What am I missing here? It's simply pasted information is it not?

No copy paste. Put an add on the Syscoin marketplace & you will see it on http://syscoin.market

Yes, that's correct. It runs off the blockchain and is completely dynamic. If you want to download the source and work on it (think: improve it), you can clone it from github here:

https://github.com/spherico/syscoin-market

Here's the reddit announcement of it:

http://www.reddit.com/r/SysCoin/comments/2lyi70/first_webviewable_marketplace_utilizing_the/

So, last I checked there were dozens of items in the marketplace, most bullshit items, but none the less, they were there.

This site only has the one item, what gives? Is there some kind of "filter" mechanism getting rid of the 'bullshit' listings?

If I go into my console in the wallet, and create an item, can I count on my item being on syscoin.market? Is there anything special I have to do in my listing to make sure it's there?

The best place for all bitcoin newbies

There were loads of items on there but they all expired. If you add a new one to the block chain it should show up there.
