The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I've released an alpha build of the Syscoin market software for Windows.  Version 0.2-alpha allows you to browse the marketplace as well as list items. Purchasing doesn't work yet because of a bug in the Syscoin client, and I have not yet implemented search or category browsing yet.

You can download it here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hrc1ly5z58prvxe/SysMarket-0.2-alpha.zip

If you'd rather download source and compile yourself, you can grab it from github here:

https://github.com/spherico/sysmarket-win32

YES!!!!!!!! Cheesy Epic!

Will download today and offer some feedback. In the mean time, can I tip you? Idk how to tip in BCT :/
do i need to run this on the same computer as my wallet? just curious as i have my wallets offline atm.

You should be able to hook up to any wallet that is accessible via RPC, so ports need to be open in the firewall if it isn't the localhost. You can always just create a new wallet file and use that. The balance can be 0.00 SYS if you just want to view the items for sale.

If you want to list (and in the future buy), you'll need sys to pay the transaction fees for the sale.

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.

If there are people having issues completing the offer payflow (this applies to console level commands) please explicitly pass the seller address to offernew rather than omitting it (docs currently display it as optional).

If you pass an address this will workaround an error discovered which offerpay returns an error for offer created from a wallet that contains multiple receive addresses. I'm working with @sphericon to help with any other issues that devs like himself and others may run into.

We're working listening to feedback on this and if issues are discovered which block marketplace usage we will issue a patch release ASAP.  Smiley

First off awesome with the GUI,
But I get a error when trying to get started, maybe someone could help me.
I was getting error send to windows bla bla bla but now when I click on it nothing happens and I do not see it in my processes.

Maybe a step by step guide for noobies like me would be in order, address things like
Do we need to be running the QT?
If so what steps do we need to do it in?

This is getting very very annoying why would you not just put in basic setting so everyone could just plug and play? WTF setting do I need to use for my wallet on my computer at this time?
What setting would you need for a online wallet?
Thought the whole point of the windows gui was to make it easy to use?

To get it working you need to set a user/password for your QT wallet. This is done by editing the syscoin.conf file. You can find it by going Start->run and typing

%appdata/syscoin

and then editing it with this info:

Code:
addnode=seed.syscoin.tk
rpcuser=anyusername
rpcpassword=anypasswordyouwant
rpcallowip=192.168.*
rpcport=9368
listen=1

Then restart your wallet. Now you've got the wallet ready for services to connect to it. In the folder that you downloaded the marketplace app in, there is a settings.inc file. Edit that, and replace the placeholders with whatever you put in the above code, and it should launch straight away after saving that file.

Try %appdata% (Roaming) and then syscoin.

Who...... Cares...... about.... grammar.... become a english teacher if that is your goal in life. If not gtfo and let someone answer with something that can help.

On that note, after some reading I discovered you have to add your own conf file.
I did that but still nothing
