There is a bug in the syscoin client that returns the *fee* charged by the system as the price of the item instead of the actual price. Once this is fixed and released with new binaries, everything on the blockchain should be considered live.

I saw dano mention in IRC they have released source code with this fix and they just need to build the binaries and post.

The market place bounty has just been released to @Sphericon for his great work

http://blockexperts.com/sys/tx/04f64a6f41c1c392c8cb2aedd1be44329f305cc5bb7c545644db0910af9a2cf0

This is a great example of community driven development! We do encourage (and support) every developer or just creative mind creating services and applications like this around the feature-rich blockchain.
I want to say again, if you have ideas but cannot code, feel invited to contact us on any way, we will happily help you and / or connect you developers!

Meanwhile there were pretty good feature discussion on our IRC channel (#syscoin), for example the new ASIN feature @Sphericon just introduced into his market app.
In this matter I need to mention, that this is some features that are built on the front-end site, some will make it into the blockchain as a general feature, some will not. We must not bloat it with too much information per design (else we have something like SAP R3, who ever used it knows what i mean Wink ).

Go on developing, this is awesome!

Thank you very much! I am not stopping now though, I will keep developing this app until Syscoin becomes mainstream. I can see it happening!

Thanks for reminding people Smiley

Development Update!

As promised Syscoin v0.1.5.1 which includes 2 important marketplace bugfixes:
* Fixes the "11" or "88" price bug
* Fixed issues that previously existed with offeraccept/offerpay. Offernew now *requires* a receive address and it can be a non-wallet address (aka a proxy address). It can also be an alias.

https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/releases/tag/0.1.5.1

Blog post coming tomorrow with more news!!! Due to the litigation this week some of our roadmap date have shifted slightly- we'll be posting a detailed update on this as well as other news about what's going on with Syscoin and things that are on the horizon.

Syscoin: Business on the Blockchain. - Buy and sell goods and services, send encrypted messages and more all secured by the blockchain.

Haha, don't be naive. This rise is because people are starting to find out about this coin and see all of the cool tech in action. I see it continuing the climb until it's at least 1000 sat and rising. It doesn't matter though, because once the Syscoin marketplace is in full swing and the rest of the features are announced by the dev team, people will want to use it for its intended purpose--a currency, not a tradable asset.
